Ok the thread with all those young people just depressed me - so i thought more ppl might answer in a poll :)

OMG me too! I'm too old for this after reading about all the young uns' :(

I am 18, will be 19 in November :)

Awe, Ladies.. Don't feel "too old" .. You're carrying children, so obviously your bodies are perfectly fine and capable!

No matter the age, we all go through the same general things in pregnancy.

my mum keeps telling me my ms is worse because i am old... its not the kindest or most helpful thing that could be said :(

Well all I can say is I know it's not very nice thing to say lol but I had no ms when I had ds 14 years ago when I was 17 and have nothing but nausea with this one and I'm 31

LOL i wouldn't listen to that.

I'm 19 and my first pregnancy i lost half a stone in 4 weeks and was being sick 10+ times a day.

This time i'm a lot better. Just depends on the pregnancy!

I think ms is one of those things - i'm sure its partly due to the position of the placenta - but mum wont listen to that - mine is right by my stomach - ugh :(

That thread depressed me too and I'm only 26!

And I experienced the same thing with the morning sickness. When I was 16 and pregnant no nausea at all! when I was 19 and pregnant barely any nausea at all! This time I spent more time hugging my puke bucket then I did anything else!

I'm 29 and it depressed me to! That and the fact most of my mates already have had children at younger ages then me.

Mind you I feel young at heart even if I wont be a super young mummy.

not in 1st tri anymore but thought i'd add mine. i'm 18 =) x

27 here.... but my husband is an old man (38) so we had to get started... hahaha :haha:

I'm going to be 40 when this baby arrives. I felt old too reading that thread LOL. I have a daughter the age of many on this board and that's making me nervous, as it reminded me I'm likely to become a grandma while this latest addition is still quite young! I guess I won't have to worry about empty nest syndrome :)

I had my first son when my brother was only 4 years old! Now they have a very close relationship. It's absolutely lovely!

Well by the looks of the poll so far there are lots of 'older' mummys on here. The word 'older' is making me laugh, I'm only 32 and most of my friends aren't even planning kids yet!
