I'm 29 but currently feel about 50, if that helps?! The bub is due 12 days before my 30th birthday - I always wanted a baby before I was 30 so I'm just about getting in there with days to spare!

I decided after missing other targets (like 3 years after marriage), that it would be nice to have my first before I hit 30 too, turns out you can't always plan whats going to happen, so I just make a new target each time, already had a new target picked out for if we could not start trying yet. Luckily things came together and we were able to start trying, I'm 29 now but will be 30 before the baby is born, I'm counting that as a win

24, and Squirt will be born two months before I turn 25. I think it's a pretty good age for my first child. And in my family, I'm "old" for my first. My great grandmother had her first at 17, my grandmother at 18, my aunt at 20 and my mother at 21. So, making it this far is an accomplishment.

I think it seems that there are more younger people on here and who are pregnant because older people are a little less tech saavy....and thus would spend less time on the threads. Does that make sense? I feel extremely old on here (I'm 29, going on 30) but in "real life", I know that I'm still at a good age to have a baby. Don't feel depressed!

just turned 31. My aim had been to have a baby before i turned 30 (obviously missed that aim) but I got sick and nearly died, so now am just happy to have my health along with this wonderful little bean.

Im 38 but still feel like Im in my mid 20's and when I found out I was pregnant (this is our first) my first thought was that I was too young to have a baby! Clearly Im not but I feel like I am! I will be 39 when I give birth and hubby will be 41.

Sorry but your mum is wrong. i had my first at nearly 18 and had morning sickness all the way through my pregnancy.
I'm expecting my third i am now 25 and have had bad morning sickness.

Without wanting to cause any controversy, it's scary how young some of the girlies are... I hope the systems in this country and providing all the support needed, I think of myself at 14, and I cannot imagine doing it alone. Wishing everyone all the best zx
