Polyp Check and Ovulation

Hi! The doctor is going to do a procedure to either remove a polyp or look for one. I just had my HSG yesterday and they found what appears to be a polyp. I had my ultrasound and it did not show up there. In any case, the procedure is scheduled for Thursday (the day I get my LH surge approximately). I wanted to do home insemination if we can't do it in the doctor's office yet. Any advice or thoughts on this?

Sarah in Canada had a polyp removed. She has a thread here about assisted conception. If you post your question and concerns on her thread, I am sure she will be able to advise you.

I had a polyp removed but it was on the cervix. I went to the OB and she just plucked it off. I apparently have another one so I have to get that one removed too. I don't know if it affects fertility??? Maybe if it is blocking something. The OB said that they are like skin tags...
