My little boy is 13 months and we are going through a rough stage. He didn't get any teeth till eleven months and now he has two on top and two on bottom. Our problem is that his latch seems to be hindered by these teeth. He is pulling the nipple through the teeth and it's causing me a lot of pain. I try to relatch him and he roars. We cosleep and at night he constantly wants to be latched on but he's pushing the boob away at the same time if that makes sense. I'm getting hardly any sleep because he will screech the house down if I as much as move a muscle. It's as bad as having a newborn .... I dread every time he wants to feed and at night I feel like I'm going mad. He is very attached to me and if his daddy tries to settle him he will go absolutely mental and I end up taking him back cos I can't stand to hear him cry. I've tried giving him pain relief in case his teeth are annoying him but it hasn't helped.
