he wants to change his "best man" but he knows that would be terrible!! he picked a friend from work then got a new job(in the army)a few months and his "friend" has never been in touch since he left..not much of a friend really,and he is gutted

probably not...my OH keeps inviting him out 4 drinks so he can meet the other groomsmen but he keeps letting him down,should he just bite the bullet and say it?

Ooooh I'd say so. At the end of the day, this is his big day and he should have someone he can rely on to be there for him.... if the bloke can't turn up for drinks, then can he really be depended on for whatever he's needed for on and on the run up to the big day?

Easier said than done though love..... I don't envy him!

neither do i i picked all family for my bridesmaids coz u just dont know whats gonna happen!!

I have a similar bridesmaid issue in that I have 3 really close friends from school, plus my sister. There's also this 1 girl who is part of my group, but we're not especailly close, so it'll be awkward if and when I ask all of them except her to be bridesmaid.... then when it comes to flower girls/ page boys etc.... I have a godson, my own son will be 2 by the time we get married, my neice and then my OH has 3 neices too and his mum is insistant that ALL of them are asked.... I hate all the politics etc that go with this wedding malarky lol - no wonder it's so stressful!

Has your OH got an idea of who he wants to ask instead?

yeah his brother he is only a groomsman at the moment

Aw I bet he feels awkward, men are never any good in these situations whereas we woman just come straight out and say it
