Poorly 10 month Old Advice Please!! UPDATE PAGE 2

How is he eating? Does he have a tube? Or is he just receiving IV fluids? Poor little guy is going to be so happy to get back to his boobs! :(

He is just having fluids at the moment. He hasnt eaten a thing since thursday morning. They need too make sure that his bowel is working properly or they said it will be one step forwards and two steps back. x

Bloody hell. You need to put in a complaint. Your poor little boy, glad you got a good doc in the end and he's had proper care at St Thomas'.

Make sure you try and get some rest too. Lots of love to you all xx

I've just all this. Your poor little man having to go through all this. How lucky he is to have you fighting for him and making sure he got the treatment he needed. I hope his bowel starts working properly soon and the pain gets less for him. Thinking of you and wishing you a fast recovery. X x x

(Can I be nosey and ask which your local hospital was?)

I'm so sorry you're having to go through all this :hugs:

I hope he starts to feel more comfortable soon :hugs:

Oh my gosh poor little man! I hope he recovers soon Hun and you can get back closer to home. It's awful being away from your other children when ones is sick. I am glad you avoided icu but if you do need to go at any point don't be afraid. Icu staff are generally fantastic!

Sending you lots and lots of love xxx

Hi just thought I would let you all know that we are home!! Jamie is so Happy too be home. Its lovely to all be together again. I am going too be watching him like a hawk. I am actually traumatised by everything he went through. Just so happy too have him home xx

Glad to hear he's home! Catch your breath, but you must put a complaint in, you don't want another family to go through what you did xx

:happydance: So glad he's home and in the recovery stretch. Anyone would be traumatised by all you've been through. I'm not surprised. I just hope you can all put it behind you soon.

So glad things are going well :hugs: I would be traumatized too.

Just focus on how well he is doing, and remember that you got him to the right care- you knew what to do and he is doing well because of it :flower:

Oh my gosh!! I just read all of this and I can't believe what he had to go through!! How traumatic for him and YOU!! So glad that you went with your senses and not what the doctors said. Thank God he's home safe and sound. I hope you can get some "mental" rest after all of that :hugs:

How's he doin now hun? Glad he is home and recovering. Hope you are getting time to catch up on some rest and de-stress.

I've just read this and just couldn't help crying when I read post 20, I am so horrified you both went through that, and so glad he is safe and back at home. I'm not surprised you are traumatised, it made me feel ill just to read it. Please give you LO a hug from me :hugs:
