POP up Pokemon ad is outrageous

At the end of my rope trying to read the site when pop ups repeatedly pop up after closing them.

How it is disturbing your forum time
Any problems caused (can't close ad etc)

I am away from home and just have my phone, however it was a Pokemon ad that wouldn't close when you clicked the close button. It was large so
You couldnt click anything behind it either. On Saturday morning I couldn't read any threads I had to use my phone. I tried to block pops ups onmy laptop but that didn't seem to stop it either.

I did submit a report but with the holidays replies may be slower. Has this stopped?
