popular names for 2010

Does anyone have any prediction as to the popular names for 2010 and why they think they'll be popular?

I'm expecting Bella, Edward and Jacob to all become popular thanks to Twilight.

Im getting stick for people thinking im naming my lo after a twilight character but im not

it really is just a pants coinsidence!! I love the name Isabella but actually thought noooooo it will be so popular with twilight theres been a few birth announcments with Names like Esme jacob etc which i think are excellent names but annoyingly linked with twilight (which i love btw) if twilight have given people name ideas i think thats good but wouldnt wana name the baby after an actual twilight character if that makes sense! alot of people get there name ideas from films etc but when its been a huge deal like twilight then i get the names become really popular

My sister named her daughter Rosalie Sharlotte which I think is just beautiful... ofcourse Rosalie after Twilight haha

We love the name Isabella but we know two people who have named their children that...we thought we were being smart picking Bella...until i googled it and all you get is twilight

Still love the name though and its the only one we agree on!

We've got Jacob as #1 for a boy but I've never even seen Twilight!! So that's a bit annoying.

I read somewhere that Esme has jumped a gazillion places in the charts this last year. Shame really, coz its just the type of weird yet pretty name id have gone for!

Esme's gorgeouss! I saw the first twilight film and couldnt see what the deal was tbh what aload of rubbish! I dont think tbh that twilights gonna be around by the time people they know are old enough to notice... if you get what i mean? So i wouldnt worry too much. xx

Hubby and I both love the name Bella Rose...and we've been set on it for awhile. My hubby is Italian and that's where he gets the name Bella from.

Yup - Esme is my favourite girl's name but DH says we shouldn't use it due to Twlight. Bah. So kinda hoping we have a boy as we just can't agree on girls names at all (mind oyu we have eight months to find something)!

my cousin has just had a baby and called her Esmie... she is going to end up being one of like 20 at school!

Jacob is my OH... and if we were having a boy we hald talked about calling him Jacob so i'm glad were having a girl!

the most popular names where i live at the moment seem to be ellie and ruby, with may as the most popular middle name. waiting for all the bella and edwards now
