Hi, quick question...

When can I give my son normal porridge rather than baby porridge?

Also, he's still on puréed food, so I'm just starting to introduce some textures...any ideas for me?

I'm finding it hard to get new ideas

Thanks

Went to a weaning talk today and they said baby can eat pretty much anything an adult can (being wary of too much salt and sugar and some specific exclusions like honey). I plan on skipping baby porridge and giving readybrek, as that's my normal breakfast anyway.

Edit: this assumes weaning at 6 months

Yep, normal porridge minus salt, honey or too much sugar from 6 months, with either your normal full fat milk (e.g. cow's) or you can use breastmilk/formula if you have some to use up.
