I pee'd in a cup this morning (fmu) dipped a clearblue digital test this morning and it said "pregnant" so I rush to the store bought another clearblue digital, and a frist response early result (non digital). Using the same urine in the cup (maybe and hour old) I got a "not pregnant" on the digital, and no second line on the other. Did I let the fmu sit to long? What should I do? I took apart the "not pregnant" digital test and can see a faint, I mean faint second line. But no second line on the first response. :nope:

How strange! Maybe leaving it too long does affect it? I would get another test and do it in the morning with fresh urine. I think it looks good for you tho :) hope so!!xxx

Did you take apart the one that said pregnant? If it was defective you should definitely call and complain, they will send you free ones.

No I didn't take apart the "pregnant" one I was trying to savor it lol

I agree with Mammag ^^

Also if you got 'Pregnant' on a Clearblue Digital then id pretty much say you are pregnant as there measure 50mIU of HCG to work... which is quite alot compared to First Response e.t.c

Also the longer your wee sits there for the more the HCG disapates and therefore could be the explaination of your negitive afterwards.

I would deffo say try with your first morning urine ASAP dont allow it to sit... Fingers crossed and keep us all posted :) x

lol it could be defective i would take it apart and make sure.... like mammag said..

I would take a pic of it saying Pregnant... and deffo open it up. The Digital display of saying 'Pregnant' will only last for 24 hours max then it will disappear :) x

See I had this a few week ago - I thought it was a chem, but now I'm not sure, as all the tests i took with the same pee, including a superdrug which is very sensitive, were all neg bar the clearblue digital displaying pregnant 1-2 weeks. They are not that sensitive at all. I did take the positive one apart about an hour after I did the test and there was hardly any evident lines including the control line.

I hope tomorrow you can take another test with FMU and there your positive will be xx

heres my thread https://www.babyandbump.com/pregnancy-tests/619677-one-positive-clearblue-digi-one-negative.html

Hcg has a half life of 24hrs, so one day later there would be half the amount of Hcg in your urine as there was when you first peed in the cup, so unless you left your urine sitting for an entire day then it probably doesn't have a whole lot to do with the outcome of your tests, but sensitivities of tests CAN vary, so there is still a very good chance that you are pregnant and the other tests you took just weren't as sensitive. Test in the morning and let us know the outcome for sure! Good Luck :dust:

deffo retest with FMU and go from there... you can always get some blood drawn up at your doctors to check your level of HCG :) x

how many DPO are you??? x
I have no idea when I ovulated this cycle, I had no signs of ovulation. I assumed I didn't ovulate this cycle. My cycles are not regular I am cd 30 today, (normal cycle is 34+ days)
This month I started using a clearblue fertility monitor, and never got a peak, it went to high on cd10 stayed high until cd 27, but read that its normal not to get a peak your first month using it because its learning your body. I didn't notice any egg white cervical mucas.

Ok I took the "pregnant" one apart and there is a faint line maybe alittle darker than the not pregnant.. I mean they are both faint. But the pregnant one is a hair darker (still faint)

That's a good sign. :D

Honestly mine had naff all really there including the control line, which is why I think it went wrong somehow.

I read your post, did you end up with a BFP after all?

Unfortunetly not :( I had my first AF since Feb start this morning. I got my positive CB digi on the 15th of May.

I really do think you will get your second positive tomorrow.

it looks good then if there is 2 lines there. plus the sensitivity of a clearblue digi is 50ml/u which is a lot higher than other tests. id test again tomorrow with FMU xx
FX'D AND :dust: keep us posted

Just wanted to say good luck, and also you are not suppose to open the digitals cause they always have 2 lines, pregnant or not pregnant. Sounds like there is something strange going on with your test, I tested with fmu and got a positive on a first response, and didnt empty out the urine and came back home 2 1/2 hours later and it still worked for the digital and another first response. Hcg lowers in urine after sitting out for 24 hours by half. But I would assume you were pregnant if it showed up once, if your not, I would be calling clearblue!
