positive opk @ 8dpo...HELP!!!

Momma- :happydance: I was looking at yesterday, but I knew that spike looked like it was either going to dip in a pre-o dip or keep dropping. What kind of opk's are those?

alice?? lol Ive never heard of them before but I buy them from Ebay they take awhile to get here but I got 150 (any combo) for $26

HI, Ladies. :)

Momma, Yay for the almost positive opk... how exciting!

Fngrs and Momma, glad to see your temps are up this morning.

My friend lived in TN and moved to Cincinnati where we used to live and had a hard time dealing with the winters there. I guess it was her learning place, because now they live in Wisconsin and they get a LOT of snow there, even more than here in northern Ohio. There is no way I could live in Louisiana. Unless I'm just going by the movies and not real life, it is really humid there with a lot of bugs. Is that correct, Fngrs? Mosquitoes eat me alive. Fortunately there haven't been many at all this summer and I don't mind one bit.

Yea, the summers are a little humid. But winters aren't so cold. Don't get me wrong, they are cold, but they aren't filled with snow every year. It just recently started snowing a very little here in the past 6 years. Most of the time the snow melts right when it hits the ground. It's never more than a few inches and never more than for a day. lol I think it's pretty but, I don't do snow. As far as bugs...well there aren't a whole lot where I grew up. But I imagine if you live really close to water or father East-North East then the bug situation can get pretty hairy. I live in the country, but not near the water, so I see bugs all of the time. Bugs that I haven't seen before in my life. But I like the peace and quiet, and there is nothing a little bug spray around your house can't kill. lol lol lol The part of Louisiana that I am from is close to the Texas border, driving 30 minutes from there would put you in Texas. I honestly have a "unique" accent, lol it's a little Texas and a little Louisiana. People meet me and ask me where I am from, lol take those two states and trio them off with private school. There is a show on TLC (?) called swamp people (these are Louisiana gator hunters)...We don't all live like that lol lol lol and I can't understand all the time what they are saying. Their "Cajun" accent is very thick.

I would like to visit TN though. I had a friend who went to Memphis and she went on and on about it. Wonder what all the full is about with that BBQ...lol

Thanks! I love Florida ( minus the bipolar weather messing up my shoots) butttt I hate cold PERIOD lol snow is pretty while it is falling . give me enough to make a snow man and I am good till another year or so lol

Look what I just got!! I'm not thrilled with the running dye again and the line isn't all that dark, but I'm assuming I'm at the beginning of my surge. I'll be so bummed if it's a pre-AF surge. It's been several days since BD so I'll try to make the most of the next couple days.

I only have 1 more opk left, so I'll be going out to Kroger soon to see if there are any digis left on clearance. :)

L.E. Awesome!!! I think you are at the beginning of your sure. Despite the dye running I still trust the CBE digi, more than anything. Get to dancing sister!!! :happydance:

Now you will finally get solid crosshairs with a true ovulation!!! Are you going to do your progesterone cream after your thermal shift?

Gosh this is exciting....I can't wait to stalk your chart to no end!! I mean I already do, but now it's going to be worse!! I am a proud stalker, can you tell?

Ha thanks ladies. There is definitely more pep in my step since seeing my smiley! Hopefully the one I take later says positive too. Now that it's dry, it's faint. Is that normal? I have had a random smiley opk before, so I really hope that's not the case this time. The +Opk took the crosshairs off my chart, so I'm glad I didn't have to do a manual override. I hate doing that. I'm soooooo tired though. Might have a cappuccino. Trying to limit my fluids but I need a pick-me-up.

Oh and no, I don't plan on using progesterone if I ovulate. I'm hoping the chemical was just one of those things. I had no issues with DS and my LP is pretty normal. But I've never seen real O with my temps so I don't know what to expect from them yet. I'll play it by ear.

Did I mention my anniversary is in 4 days?? We're celebrating Wed and Thursday though. We'll have to "celebrate" now though hehe. :happydance:

Stacey that is AWESOME!! Just a few more days!! I wasn't checking cm, opks, or temps, so I can't say for sure, but based off my early scan, I was 5w5d when they did the scan and we saw DS' heartbeat, so I hope you get to too! I know sometimes you can't see it that early, but I hope you get to!! :yipee:
