positive opk @ 8dpo...HELP!!!

AFM, well ladies, advil does wonders. I was taking tylenol and it wasnt helping but i took 2 advil tablets and within a hour, i noticed a difference. Also, my temp started to decrease. The last time i took my temp yesterday, my temp was at 97.75  Also was able to sweat it out last night too (just woke up with my clothes drenched so had to change clothes). Im feeling better though. Im gaining energy back which is good. Just couldnt really get a peaceful sleep because i had a toothache but tylenol help me sleep through that. Im on cd5 and the bleeding continues. 2 more days before it ends. I have already scheduled my doc appt and its Nov. 7th at 10:30am. So now all i do is wait. I have to start cleaning up the house before MIL moves in so she can put her stuff where she needs to put it. And i also got to pack my clothes for the trip, I had started but then I had to help MIL pack and then I got sick so it has been on hold. Well thats it for me.

Stacey...beautiful bump picture!!! :hugs:

L.E. I think this will be it for you too. I love your temp this morning!!! :happydance: I know it could be just from you feeling a little sick or the provera, but it sure was nice to see! I don't know if it's the provera being a pain in the behind or what...you end up getting sick when you take it with a cold or sinus issue. :( Provera better be nice to you or I am going to Ohio to shake the pill bottle until those pills apologize!

I hope all of you ladies are doing well today..I wanted to get on earlier butI spent the day at the Dr.'s office with a friend of mine. She just had a total hysterectomy about 8-10 weeks ago. So she is like the hot flash queen!!! Anyhow I made it back...entertaining trip but happy to be home.

MzSwizz- Glad that you are feeling better. For one toothaches are no joke!! And to be sick on top of that is even worse. My Dh has something similar to the flu, caught it from a co-worker who refused to stay home while he was sick. Luckily I got a flu shot in Dec. So I haven't gotten it. If I did get it, my gosh the whole house would shut down. My Dh can't cook and I can only imagine him trying to go to work and come home to prepare meals for the kids. Poor kids...

MzSwizz, glad you're feeling better. I do prefer Advil/Ibuprofen for my aches and pains too. That or Aleve. After my c-section anesthesia wore off, I just took 800 mg of ibuprofen for the next few days, then weaned off of it. It's great!!

Fngrs, I did think about the sick going along with the Provera, but I did start with the sore throat yesterday morning and I didn't take the Provera til evening, so I guess I can't really blame it. My colds seem to come at the weirdest times, just to complicate things. I couldn't believe my temp this morning. I actually thought it was 96.97 at first, then I looked again, then again lol. I took my temp a little while ago on the basal thermometer and it was 99.08! Fever for sure! It's funny that I see a "normal" temp of 98.6 or so, and think "I must have a fever". haha I actually don't feel all that bad... not good, but so far it is definitely a LOT milder than the last one i had that spiked my temp. I was soooo sick last time. Hopefully this one is gone soon.

Fngrs, how old is your friend? I've tumbled the idea of a hysterectomy around in my head a few times because of all my bleeding issues, but I don't think I could ever do it. It doesn't help that my aunt died after an elective hysterectomy, but that was 30 yrs ago. She was only 30 too and had 3 young kids. I personally wouldn't risk it unless it was medically necessary (like cancer- God forbid).

L.E. i think the hysterectomy question was for Fngrs :haha:

Happy everyone is feeling some what better thanks hope yall dont mind me sharing the pic with you ladies

Stacey- Awww no I don't mind. It always hurts a little to see someone else's baby bump, but I'm very glad things are progressing well for you! :) If I ever get my bump, I'm sure I'll share it too.

L.E. She is 32... :/ She is disappointed because she wanted more children. She has 3 girls and would love to have a boy...But it was medically necessary. So now she is with the hot flashes non-stop. God bless her soul. She is younger than I am. I am glad that I still have all of my female organs. She has a mesh like my MIL and I hope it goes well with her because my MIL just had her second surgery to stop everything from falling out. which is what the first surgery was for. :/ My MIL's bowels started falling, the first mesh was for her bladder and intestines..Imagine that! But MIL is back at work and better now. I just hope she does well with this one also.

Yea I started thinking about that Provera and how you get sick at the worst times. I hope this cold you have doesn't even have time to make it in the door good enough before you boot it out. I started my Dh on Zicam, it's suppose to help get rid of the nasty cooties faster than without it.

Stacey I didn't mind your bump pic at all. I think it's beautiful. I can't wait to see the rest of everyone elses bump pics too. I know it's going to be soon for MzSwizz and L.E. I can possibly see both of them with twins!!! :D That would be too awesome for words.

Ok just wanted to make sure I know how hard it was on me seeing bumps

Stacey- I dont mind the bump pic at all :hugs:

Fngrs-Twins?! Actually, I love the idea of having twins now for some reason  Im thinking about talking to the doc and talk her into prescribing me clomid...i heard it increases the chances of twins AND twins run in our family and supposedly its our generation's turn to have twins so i wouldnt be surprised. And i leave thanksgiving day, Nov. 22nd for my trip.

L.E. hows everything?

AFM, cd6 and the bleeding is still going on. I got over the fever but now im fighting this terrible cough and nose congestion :nope: Hopefully, it leaves soon because I have sooo much cleaning and packing that needs to be done. Im going to try my best to start on it again today atleast it will be a working progress. It has been raining for the past few days now and its no good for me while im sick. Im just ready to get better though. Also, since yesterday, I have been thinking of the idea of wanting twins  :haha: I dont know. For some reason, I think it would be nice to have twins. I mean if i didnt im not going to be disappointed but if i did then at the same time i will be excited about it. I cant wait until my doc appt on Nov. 7th so I can go and talk to her and she what she recommends. Hoping to get Clomid or progesterone cream etc but we shall see. I think the main focus is the ovarian cysts and I think they are hindering me from ovulating like I am suppose to which is causing me to irregular cycles and abnormal bleeding between periods. Im just ready to get everything fixed so I can finally conceive. Well, Im going to go start cleaning now since it's raining very hard here.

Well I wouldn't mind twins at all...even told my OBGYN that the other day after my Pap... I said 3 would be max and 4 would be too much. She said not to even mention 4 because that would make her a nervous wreck! She said she delivered triplets once. I said that 2 would be perfect because I have 2 arms and 2 milk-producers :)

MzSwizz, I'm actually doing pretty well. I already feel better than yesterday, though not 100%. I hope you feel better soon!

Fngrs, That's terrible that your MIL had that happen. It definitely sounds scary thinking about having your bowels trying to come out. I hope your friend doesn't have any issues like that. What CD are you on?

Edit... as my day has gone on, I feel less sick even, so I'm mostly better already thankfully.

as the day goes by, i feel like im getting worse :nope:

:hugs: Hope you feel better soon!!

I took my temp a little while ago and it was much lower (like 97.5), so I guess my high temp was from me fighting off this cold. I guess 2 days of higher temps is better than holding onto a cold.

L.E. thanks and re your temp...it could be a fallback temp. I know i usually get a fallback temp around 3-4dpo sp its normal. Let's just see what your temp is for the following day.

AFM, its cd7 and the bleeding is still going on grrr :growlmad: It should've stopped by now but its still going on. I guess me being sick isnt helping  Hopefully, it will stop soon because being sick and having AF is not a good combination. Im feeling better though. Just trying to get over this cough and these body aches but other than that im doing better  In 2 more weeks, I see my doc yay :happydance: Im excited to talk her ear off  I have been cleaning up so Im proud of myself about that. Still have my room and the living room to finish up. Also, have to do laundry and finish packing for my trip up to Connecticut. As of right now, its getting cooler in Florida. I dont know if its a cold front or what but it was cold last night that's for sure. I am going to go help my MIL pack so I layered up because im still sick and dont want to end up going back to being on bed rest all day. Oh and I talked to DH about the whole twins ordeal and he was actually happy. He was saying that it would be nice so thats good atleast we both wouldnt be like OH NO :nope: :haha: So let's see what happens after the doc appt. Well, im going to head down to Miami now.

MzSwizz, that sounds so funny to talk about being layered up in Miami lol. Weather.com says it is 84 in Miami :saywhat:... that's hot!! It's 53 here, which is perfect fall weather to me!

I don't really think I O'd, and if I did, chances of conceiving would be very slim since it was 5-6 days before supposed O day. Honestly, if I did O, I would've thought it was 1-2 days sooner than FF says. FF says it was possibly Tues. 10/22, but on 10/23 my cvx was really high and soft at 1 pm, but by dinner it was lower and firm. While I still considered my cm creamy, it was a little thinner for a couple days, but I don't know which days it was now. Plus on Sunday, I had a little bleed, which actually reminded me of my ovulation bleed in December. I really doubt I did O, though. It was just the cold/Provera giving me fits.
