positive opk @ 8dpo...HELP!!!

MzSwizz.... I hope you're doing well and healing up. Only 3 weeks left of BC for you!

as of monday he was up 7oz from his birth weight he goes in again tomorrow to check it again dh went back to work today its been a lazy day so far

That's great!

Oh man, I hope today's temp is a fluke. Not high enough to mean anything, but a big jump from yesterday and higher than all my temps except CD1. If I O'd yesterday, my last BD was 3 days before that (I guess you could say 2.5 since it was just after midnight). My opks have been negative and my temp when I went to bed at 2 a.m. was 97.05, so I think/hope it's just random. I guess we'll see what tomorrow's temp is. Blah.

Im going to say it will be up tomorrow just to mess with you then go back down just because we know how your body loves to mess with your mind

 Ha ha That sounds about right. :muaha: My body has a twisted sense of humor for sure.

I deep cleaned my living room last night, and even managed to move my 30 gallon fish tank (full of water and fish) that sits on top of a solid wood hutch. I'm glad we have wood floors to puuuuuuusssh it on or there would've been no way to move it without emptying it. And then after that I spent about an hour hunched over giving my mom a pedicure, then did my own tootsies... And I just finished a 5 hour cooking/baking spree in my kitchen. I don't know why it took so long, doesn't seem like it should have. I made 3 dozen dyed deviled eggs (18 whole eggs), pancakes for breakfast, and red velvet cupcakes (box) with cream cheese frosting (home-made) and a chocolate cake (box) with chocolate frosting (home-made), and cleaned it most of the way up... My back hurts and I'm beat now!!

dang woman slow down some but yummmy that sounds so good

Hey ladies! happy Easter to all of you. Congrats Stacey on baby Nicholas!

So the dust has settled and I am back online. Yay me. And I guess back on the the TTC wagon.

L.E. that temp spike is nice. I always stalk your chart and silently root you on. I was so excited to see it this morning. 2.5 days should be good...especially if you had some fertile cm. not sure if you did since it wasn't marked, not to mention they can live in the fallopian tube for quite a dew days while they wait around for ovulation. I don't want to jinx it here, but hopefully this is it and you get a bfp.

MsSwizz...question since I am not in the know anymore. Once you stop your bc are you and dh going to start TTC?

Fngrs!!! So glad to see you back! My spike was a fluke like I thought. Glad it only had me wondering for 1 day, though. Our vacation starts tomorrow!! I wasn't going to bring anything (opks or bbt) but I think I'll pack my bbt in case I remember to temp while I'm there. I'll be waking up earlier than usual, but it should still be accurate. I'm not going to worry about it if I forget. I just don't want to miss a full week of temps.

Fngrs, do you think you O'd on CD15?

Hello ladies.

Well I only have 2 more weeks left of the BC. I might actually ask for 1 more pack because DH isn't graduating until April 26th so that means I will stop my BC 1 week before I see him. I don't want to miss any days so I'm just going to wait until dh and I move in and unpack and everything to stop the BC and finally start ttc again. A few extra weeks isn't going to kill me. Can't believe in 3 weeks or so I will be in a new environment and a new place with DH :happydance:

I am so glad to be back with you ladies. I think I may have ovulated on CD1 but it's hard to tell...I have been getting multiple readings on my bbt...:dohh: i think I have been overdue for a new thermometer. I got that one in 2011  sooo I think I am going to have to get a new one soon. My thermometer reads and doesn't beep all the time. So like an idiot I am sitting there with it stuck in the va-jay jay under the cover almost suffocating! Until I realize it's been 60 seconds or more then I take it out and try again to see if it will beep...

So it's possible that Cd12 was ovulation since I have ferning and my temp spike the next day was 97.79...CD13 was 3 temps 97.71 1st 97.63 2nd then I took it again and got 97.46 So I am not knowing which one to go with. :( Cd16 brought 2 different temps too first temp was 97.85 and then the second temp was 97.78...bear in mind the last temp is the temp where the thermometer actually beeps. So I am confused which ones do you think I should go with? The first temps or the ones that the thermometer beeped?

Any of you ladies can answer that you know I want all of your opinions! :hugs:

So I am going to leave my chart with the first readings so you ladies can tell me what you think...use the first temps or should I used the temps taken on the third try, where the thermometer beeped?

Hi Fngrs how are you doing thank you

I am doing good, thanks for asking. How are you and baby? Getting any sleep? I hope so. Did you go with the bottle or breast?

We are doing great he sleeps 4/6 hours a night last night was our first hard night but that is due to ms alice teething she has 3 teeth coming in at one time everytime she would cry it would wake him up he is 100% breastfed i started pumping to save up milk our goal is to make it to 6 months and go from there

I would say go with your first time temp of the morning

Hi, ladies I'm back!! We got back in yesterday. We had a great time but I'm glad to be home and was happy to sleep in today! We were busy busy busy and walked a ton. I didn't post, but I did hop on here quickly to check on you ladies a few times.

MzSwizz, How soon after DH graduates are you moving? So exciting!

Fngrs, I don't know which temps to use, but I see you have a clear O pattern with solid cross-hairs so it probably wouldn't matter too much either way.

Stacey, glad you and your little man are doing well and that he's sleeping for you. :)

I don't know what to think of my chart. My temps are a little wacky. All temps in April (except CD36) were taken within an hour of each other (all between 8 and 9), so they should be fairly accurate. However, we were in 2 very different climates (but house temps were similar) and vacation was super-active. I don't know how much any of that affects temps.

My "post O" temps don't look very good but I did have a couple good temps and a good temp jump... Plus I had several days of spotting but then it went away. Guess we'll see. BD timing wasn't the best since we were so tired from travel and vacation. We did manage to BD the morning I saw that my temp jumped, but that's it... well and 2.5-3 days before supposed O. Funny thing is, my chart says my EDD would be Dec. 25. Sad part is that if I didn't O or did O and didn't conceive, I'm now out for a 2013 baby. :( Oh well. I think since I turned 30 three months ago and had a wee bit of a baby meltdown, I'm actually feeling better about just having our 1 little miracle. I'll tell you my Disney trip would have been so much harder if I'd had a little one with me. As cute as the babies were, I was glad I wasn't the one with the screaming child or having to find a place to breastfeed in a sea of people and in the heat. Don't get me wrong... I still want a baby and if I'd had one there, I would've been happy too... There just are perks with having just a 6 yr old.

See i told you while you were on vaca woohoo

Nicholas no longer knows what sleep is for the last 4 days he is up all hours of the day and night but i wouldnt give it up for anything he is a sweet laid back baby he is happy just looking around and im happy woman im down 24lbs only 35 more to go to get my bmi back in to normal

Wow that's really good with the bmi... I can't go by that... my smallest in high school was still overweight or obese depending on the chart. I'm just hoping to get smaller and fitter. I hated seeing most vacation pics of me, but it is what it is and I'm a work in progress. :)

I would just like to be under 200lbs again havent been that small in years i have to get to 193 to have my bmi out of the red zone im at high risk for type 1 diabetes after having the GD so my hopes are to lower my risk ill do what i can but if i cant get it all off im not going to worry about it
