positive opk @ 8dpo...HELP!!!

At what age will they put him under for it? DS had anesthesia at 10.5 months old for a chordee/circumcision (originally thought he had hypospadias). If you keep with the pumping, maybe you could at least do that til he's 6 months. That gives him a good start with your milk helping him out. Then maybe you'd lower the risk for breastfeeding problems later by not doing the bfing long-term. I'd be the same way (in tears), but you can only do what you can do, and sometimes we just don't have control over it. Lots of babies are formula-fed and are fine.

3 months is the youngest they will do it so if he is still having a hard eatting from the bottle at that age i have to take him back up there so im going to try and pump till then then hopefully maybe get him to relatch to the breast

I think that's a good plan. :)

Well I don't even know what to think of my temps. I had 2 times this week where I forgot to set the thermostat back to 70 so the heat wasn't on over night. Last night was one of those nights and I don't know if it messed with my temps. Here's my note to myself on my chart today:
"7:13 a.m temp was 97.58. Temped at 9 and got 97.05 then 2x 97.13... tried again at 11:30 and got 97.05. House was about 10 degrees colder than usual so not sure if that made a difference. Didn't start actually feeling cold til around 9 a.m. Last night at almost 2 a.m. temp was still up at 97.86 even though I'd been in bed for a while."

I don't understand how my temp 2 hours early was so much higher than my normal time. I know it happened the other day too, but the difference wasn't quite so drastic... but still my earlier time was higher than the later time. I think my thermometer is fine. And then of course the week of supposed O I was in Florida with totally different weather, but we did have the a/c set to 72 or so, which is not far from what our heat is set to... I just don't know what to think. Tomorrow should tell me more. If I O'd CD39 then AF should be here by tomorrow. I think my LP ranges from 13-14 dpo, but the only time I got to chart O, it was 14.

No, not yet, but I really don't get (or notice) signs of AF. My first sign is usually spotting. So I looked at the last 4 AFs I've had (2 Provera and 2 on my own) and each time I spotted the day before and the days I recorded it, the spotting started early afternoon, and all the days AF started, it came before noon. I don't expect it to follow suit, though. I just found it interesting since I really hadn't realized it was all earlier in the day.

TMI alert: The only thing I noticed is that I have a lot of cm when wiping today. I don't usually notice it externally, but both times I went to the bathroom I thought AF was here, but it was just cm. And it has thinned out some and feels fertile but I guess still considered creamy since it is white. My cervix is still pretty high and firm and seems closed. That can change at any time, so who knows.

Ha and I just looked back and the days of the week for AF starting was Thurs, Thurs, Tues, Tues... funny but pure coincidence since 2 of those were from Provera.

This AF really should be here tomorrow. If it's not, I'll have to wonder if I even O'd.

Still no signs of AF and went out and got a FRER and it was :bfn: .

This delayed AF is soooo evil. Even if I O'd on CD39, AF should've been here by now. Now I have to wonder if I even O'd at all. Sigh. I've definitely had increased cm the last few days but OPKs are still negative. I think today's was a little darker than it has been. Of course the witch may show her ugly face still.

Fngrs, I see your chart is updated. Sorry the witch got you, but you're almost to O time again! Do you have any thoughts on my psycho chart?

Boo for AF. Were you done with your postpartum bleeding? Mine lasted 5w5d with DS.

I added this morning's temp and FF took away my cross-hairs. Go figure I get to 18dpo and then my CH are gone! But today's hpt was negative too and there's still no sign of AF so I'm sure it's correct. I guess vacation threw off my temps. We came home on CD43 so that doesn't explain the "hill" on my chart, but oh well. Maybe I was fighting something off and didn't know it. At least I'm not doing my bad spotting/bleeding so there's still a chance for me to O. Opks are negative, but I think darker than they had been, so we'll see. Just stinks to think that maybe you O'd and get that far into what you thought was the 2ww and realize you haven't even O'd.

I stoped on the 12th then woke up yesterday with cramps backache and af i dang sure didnt miss that stuff and im never one of the lucky ones to not have af while breastfeeding wth ff gggrrrr

Yea I'm surprised AF got you so soon. I started bleeding while exclusively breastfeed... Started the bleeding when DS was about 4 months old, but it wasn't AF, it was my bad bleeding and it lasted til I got on the mini pill 2-3 months later. Blah. I hope yours is a regular AF, but a short, and not heavy one.

i did the same with the girls dd#1 had pp bleed for 6 weeks stoped for a week then af got me she was breastfed alice 4.5 weeks of pp bleeding stoped a week later af i started the mini pill then stoped bleeding then 18 days later started bleeding so i say f the mini pill i go the 30th to get bc my milk went down again im now lucky if i get an oz all together from both but i have some saved so if he stays eatting 4oz a day at 32oz a day we can make it till 2 an half months with that i talked with my LC and she said if i stop pumping that there is way to get my milk to come back after his tongue tie is taking care of so we are going to try that i was feeling really down about it all but like i been told this is out of my hands and being on the pump all the time im missing out on time with the girls which isnt right alice went from being a mommy's girl to a daddy's girl it helped their bond but i miss her wanting me all the time i know im nuts but i hate sharing my babies even with daddy lmao thank gosh i dont have to share nicholas yet dh is great with him but he likes it when they can hold up their head he feels like he will break them before there lol

on a note think we may have found a van

oooh what kind of van? We rented one for vacation and once when our car was getting fixed. I like the newer vans, but I'd feel silly having 1 with just 1 kid.

Sounds like you're doing a little better emotionally with the breastfeeding. Sorry your supply went down and that AF is giving you fits. I'm anti-bc for me but I hope it works out well for you. I believe your LC that she can probably get you going. I've heard of adoptive moms using techniques to make them start producing milk for the adoptive babies, and they weren't even recently pregnant.

I believe she can she has been a LC for 20+ years i dislike bc to but im not trying to end up pregnant again but i felt 30 was to young to get my tubes tied if i still dont want anymore by 33/34 ill get them tied i have to understand i cant make everything go my way its a 2002 toyota sienna xle with only 90,000 miles on it wish we could get a new one but hey have to work with what you have it drives great looks great so we are having our guy look at it today if everything looks good its ours the dealer was so nice they even put a dealer tag on it so we could bring it home last night to be able to take it to the auto shop so we load the kids in it and they loved the room right now we have a mazda 626 which is small so getting 4 kids in the back seat was a no go and my oldest back there has no room she is a big 6 year old 53ins and 63lbs my niece has a little room she a tiny 7 year old 49ins and 49lbs

Oh wow... yea no way to legally and comfortably fit 4 kids in the car for sure. Your niece sounds like DS... He's 6 (almost 6.5) and just gained 3 pounds so he's at a whopping 44 lbs and I think 45 inches tall. I just looked it up and he's in the 25th percentile for both, so at least they match up I guess lol. Last time I put in his numbers and online calculator said he'd be 5 ft 9 inches as an adult. Now it says 5 ft. 6 in. DH is 5 ft 4, and my brother and dad are both around 5 ft 7-8 in.

The van sounds like a good fit. I've never driven one of those. I think both I drove were Dodge Grand Caravans, but I'm sure there's not a huge difference.

Yea my niece will be lucky to hit 5'5 dd is right on to be around 5'10 maybe 5'11 i think she will end up taller then that her dad is 6'4 and im 6'2 we were looking for a dodge but the mileage on them was so high the van is OURS only 2 easy fixs found they will be getting fixed this weekend wow looks different having the van in the drive way

Glad you got it! LOL 5'5" is TALL. And, well, at 6 ft 2, you'd tower over me. I'm 5 ft 0... maybe 5'1" max. My mom and sister are about 5'2". I like being short, except that if I were taller I'd look thinner. My lowest ever was 150 lbs and I hardly ate anything at all- no breakfast, a plain bagel at lunch, and little dinner. I walked all day at school, walked a mile each way to school (til I got a car), and worked part-time on my feet at a restaurant. I didn't stay at that weight that long either. I was up 20 lbs or so by the time I went to college and I gained 30 lbs my freshman year despite eating less than everyone else. I'm guessing the stress and lack of sleep fed my pcos. And then of course that made the whole cycle worse.

Ha well this wasn't supposed to be a weight post lol. Oh my point was... that even at my lowest, I was still borderline obese because I'm short. Frustrating... And now I'm waaaay far from that 150 and it's such a struggle to get it off, it's crazy. :/

5'5 in my family is short she will be taller then my baby sister who hit 4'11 and stop growing lol i call her my mini me oh heck i cant remember the last time i was 150 maybe when i was 13/14 when i was talking with my pcp he said the less you eat the more weight you will keep on like for me his says 2,000 calories a day eatting to few calories put your body into starvation which lowers your metabolismmaking it hard to lose the weight blah blah blah is what i start to hear when he starts with the numbers of it all i dont eat that much you think i would be a stick im back to not being able to eat again ugh

Yea it's super-hard to find that perfect balance because every day has a different activity level. When I counted calories to lose 2 lbs a week, the first week I did lose 1.5 lbs. When I eased up a little bit, I didn't lose anything. I should've at least lost 1 lb a week but I didn't lose anything. Then I stopped counting calories but exercised about an hour a day and still ate a little better than usual, and still lost nothing. So frustrating.

Why can't you eat? Nausea?
