positive opk @ 8dpo...HELP!!!

So here is the hpt for today...dont know if its fading or getting darker...looks like it is getting darker but i dont know. Here's the comparision of yesterday and today test.

AFM, im 7dpo/9dpt today. I've noticed that my temp shot up even more today. Hoping that's a good sign. Yesterday, I had removed the hcg trigger shot and the manual override and i got crosshairs for cd14 so i just added the hcg trigger back and used the coverline that FF made for the override. Well, my progesterone test is tomorrow and DH is leaving for detachment tomorrow. He will be back on the 14th. Hoping to get a bfp before he comes back home. I am scheduled for the blood pregnancy test on the 9th but I will take a hpt tomorrow and see what happens. Getting nervous now but we shall see what this cycle has in store.

I can't tell from the pics if they're getting darker or not. There can be dye differences from one hpt to the next, even the same brand. I hope you get an unmistakable bfp in a couple days. Your chart looks really good!!

To answer your question, my only true positive opks were a lot darker than the control line. I'll attach one. Don't forget these pics are of an OLD opk, so don't get excited lol. I will say the day before the positives, my OPKs looked just like the ones I've been having. But I haven't O'd yet and they aren't darker than the control, so I know I need to hold out for a blazingly positive one.

AFM, im 8dpo/10dpt today. Looks like my chart turned triphasic but im still neutral about how it will end. I dont want to get my hopes up because ive read that there have been people with triphasic charts and still get AF so its all a wait and see. I do know that DH wouldnt cuddle with me last night because he said just from me touching him, i was burning up. And i thought he was joking but he was actually serious. So i dont know what's going on with my body. Hoping its a good sign.

Well be sure to update us. You're a lower temp girl like me, so that 98.6 is super-high! Mine was that high before bed last night, but that was after having showered, carried laundry upstairs, and put it away. By morning my temp was back down of course. I just took another OPK and I got the same equally dark, technically positive result. Ugh. I hate this waiting and waiting. It just makes me buy more tests. Here is the one I took this evening. It is slightly darker than it was before Thanksgiving I think, but if it's my surge, it's lasted several days, and I don't think it is.

I had my progesterone test today and i will be testing tomorrow. From what i see, your tests are looking good but i know what you mean about having to buy more tests.

So I don't usually do OPKs in the morning, but went ahead while I'm waiting on the toddler I watch to fall asleep.... This one is definitely positive. These tests get darker up until about 30 mins. My test line is usually considerably lighter than the control when it first starts processing, then gets darker til 10-15 mins when I check it.... This time they were equal darkness from the very first second, so I knew it would be positive. I'm curious to see what my opk looks like this afternoon/evening. My temp was low this morning too, despite a rough nite with DS. I hope this is legitimate. I did have concentrated urine, but I know that won't in itself cause a false positive. I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

I was about to say positive opk and a temp deop makes it believable to me. Fxed that you are finally o'ing. We need you to give us a bfp.

AFM, im 9dpo/11dpt today. I cant believe 11 days passed already. This cycle is going pretty fast. My temp did drop a little this morning but i think its because it was freezing when i woke up. Even though it dropped, it is still in the 98s range which never really happens around 9dpo. Im usually still in the 97s so something must be working. DH made it to his destination safely yesterday and i miss him dearly but i know that i got to hold down the household until he returns. He left a husband and hopefully he will be able to come back as a husband and father to be. That would really be a great way to come back home. But we shall see. If it doesn't work this cycle, then its IUI on my december cycle. I will be testing later on today. So we shall see what happens.

I'm sure you've mentioned and I forgot, but how long will he be gone for? I'll be checking in for your post later. I would be soooo happy to O finally. I haven't O'd since this time last year (Dec.10th). A year waiting to O is a long one, especially when you're temping every day. I just told DH last night that I don't know how much more of this waiting I can take. I think it would be totally different if I at least had a regular period. I wouldn't even have to keep track. We could NTNP and leave it at that. I'm really thankful for the temping, though. At least I'm not always wondering if I'm pregnant. Anyway, I'll update mine this evening with the OPK I do and I'll check in to look for your hpt result, if not before then. I love that we both have potentially exciting things happening at the same time.

Yes, I cant wait for you to get your bfp because like you said 1 year is a long time waiting to ov. So im hoping it happens for you. And DH will only be gone for 12 days so he is coming back on the 14th. And here are my hpt tests for today. There are definite pink faint lines on there. I hear about women getting ghosts faint lines after awhile because of the trigger shot which means a negative but im now 11 dpt and it should be out of my system around 11-12dpt. These lines have been faint ever since 7dpt i think.

Hmm today's does look darker than the 9dpt, but I guess it's still the wait and see game. In a couple days you should have a definite answer. If you're preggers with a sticky bean, that line should get dark soon.

I took an opk with a short hold and diluted urine around 1 and it was negative. I knew I shouldn't have used that sample but did anyway lol. So I waited and took another a little bit ago with a couple hour hold and it looked like good concentration. It was negative. Not even equally dark. I'm hoping I had my surge and it peaked overnight or this morning. I told DH we're BDing tonight anyway. I'm not missing it if there is a chance that this morning's test was correct. I also seem to be having watery/slippery cm, so there's hope I guess. I'm curious to see what happens the next couple days. Here is the test from a little bit ago.

Ah I fell back asleep and didn't temp at normal time, so it was way later. Usually my temps don't vary a whole lot within a few hours, but it's hard to say. Not a super-high temp either, so I guess I just see what tomorrow brings. I've had a sore throat since last night. It came out of no where. I'll be looking for your tests today.

Looks to me that i may be getting AF soon because my temps are now decreasing. But im hopinh you did ov and have a chance so i cam keep my fxed for a bfp for you.

AFM, im 10dpo/12dpt today and i got negative hpts finally. Well now i know that the trigger shot takes 12 days to get out of my system. Also, i think im out this month because now my temps are dropping every day now. So im assuming AF wi be on her way on time like around 4 days or so. We shall see. Well if anything, i shall be on to the next cycle.

Well don't give up yet. Anything can happen! Implantation usually happens on average around 9 dpo and up to 12 dpo. You're still in that window, so we'll see. I know it's discouraging to see the temps going down instead of up. I hope they go up and stay up and you get your sticky bean.

I went ahead and took my last OPK a few mins ago, hoping for a light line to indicate that I'd O'd, but it's still a pretty dark line. With the previous tests, today's test, and the fact that I woke up late, I have no confidence that O has happened, but I'm still holding out hope. I don't plan on buying any more OPKs, though. This has been enough torture for me. Here's today's test around the 12 min mark or so.
