positive opk @ 8dpo...HELP!!!

Lunch with your mom sounds like fun. I keep telling myself I need to get back to being more active, but I haven't yet. With the PCOS and random surges and weird cycles (and after not ovulating for all those years) I know not to jump the gun with any signs/symptoms because most of the time they mean nothing. I just note them and find out later if they meant anything lol.

im with you on that. Most of the time, my body does its own thing so i dont really pay attention to cramps and stuff anymore because it can be anything with my body. The only thing I will pay attention to is if there is bleeding at a random time then yeah but everything else is the norm for me lol

I just paid for a year of VIP with FF. I was on the basic. I hope it's worth the money, though I guess $2 a month for something I'm using every day isn't bad. I just hope I don't have to use it very long.

It is worth it..I love my VIP membership! Plus after you get preggers you can use the pregnancy tracker instead of the regular FF...Glad you decided to get it. You won't be sorry, plus you will be able to overlay your charts with others, compare CM and signs. Then it will give you points after Ov to help determine if you are preggers.

As of this evening AF is disappering...Yay! So tomorrow should be spotting only. Guess I am moving forward and on to Ovulation now!! So I will be peeing in no time on my opk's..here I come L.E.!!! C'mon MsSwizz let's opk with L.E.

Fngrs-Its funny because i stopped spotting yesterday and i just used the first opk today..so its like our cycles are in sync with each other's

AFM, im cd23 today and just as i expected..i didnt ov yet My temp dropped back down to 97.56 today so im happy. Also....NO MORE BLEEDING/SPOTTING Im so happy. I have creamy cm now. I took the digi opk and it came back negative which i expected. Also, the left line on the test is super faint to the point dh thought that there was only one line there. So with that being said...im at the beginning of testing so there's no way we are going to miss that surge No work for me today so im super happy. DH already left to go help out at my parents house. I am waiting a little bit because I have just washed my hair and it has been raining so not trying to get sick. Im feeling pretty good today and happier now that the spotting is finally out of here. It would be great to conceive within this cycle but not going to put too much into it because if not, then there's always June before we go back to the doctor. So opk testing has begun!

You know what they say. .If you talk to someone a lot your AF will start synchronizing... Glad the spotting stopped. she was a lingering guest that didn't know when to leave. Don't know if I am spotting on not yet, haven't been to the bathroom this morning. When I went last night it had reduced to spotting so I imagine she may be gone or it's just spotting. Hopefully she is gone. Today is nice weather for us, sun if out. Guess I will find something to do today.

It's rainy and cold here in Ohio... 43 degrees. The weather is unpredictable here. In March we made it in the 70's and 80's a couple times and now that May is almost here it's cold.

Yay for peeing on sticks!! lol. It's nice to have you in on the madness with me! Mine have all been negative, so nothing interesting there and my temps are still pretty erratic and in pre-O range I think. I thought for sure I'd be getting positive opks soon since my drive is up, but no such luck. The other day I had that red once and every once in a while I'll get a slight hint of faaaaiiiint pink, but I don't count that as spotting because most people probably wouldn't even notice it and my cm has not been colored. CD79 today.

And FF doesn't know what to do with me lol... Every time I'm on there it's predicting me to start my period the next day...

OMGosh, that is cold!! Plus the rain probably make it icky outside..I am so glad we are both joining you now. We are ready! I know I am. So AF is gone, went to the bathroom and she was MIA. I could jump up and down. So glad she doesn't linger around to hang out with me. I wouldn't be good company anyway. Do you ladies know if you can use CBEFM tests sticks in the smiley opk? I read that you could, but the post on that one is years old. I think CBE should offer refill test sticks on those. It so sucks having to buy the whole kit over and over again. I already have 2 digi readers, I don't need a third. Plus the waste over time is horrible for the environment. The chips inside the plastic casing, and the battery...All more waste for our Earth to try to break down. CBE didn't put any thought into the effect it would have on our environment. They obviously were concerned about only making money. And at 35-55 bucks a pop, it's just crazy. Why not just make the refills? They would make just as much money. Just make the reader to where it doesn't have replaceable batteries but let us have use of them for at least 3 months. Am I babbling?

I just want to know if they can be used in the opk...

I considered buying one 2nd hand, but the sticks would be pretty expensive for my wacky cycles and I wasn't even sure if it would work for me. I'm sticking with temping and my Wonfo opks and have these smilies to check if my Wondfos get dark. Speaking of which, they're negative today. I had a little red spotting earlier at a bday party but it looked like it was mostly clear cm with red swirls. Pretty much gone already. I hope my body fights through and I O soon. This gets old. 5 yrs to O, chemical, and this cycle spotting off and on and CD79.

Thanks. Thankfully it is passing. Im happy about that. Its a mild pain now. Only there when i laugh continuously which has been constantly because dh is doing silly things right now lol. And dh says he wants me to let him know every time i test with the opk so he can see the circles lol. I think he is more into the test than me lol.

Haha that's funny. My DH has no interest in my opks, though occasionally I ask for his opinion or show them to him. He usually obliges without much of a fuss.

Well I opted out of experimenting with them to see if they would work and just bought a whole pk of 20. Now I have another digi reader. Ugh. DH agreed to me getting a CBFM! I was surprised, I showed it too him to get a laugh when he saw the price. Instead he says well with what you spend on ovulation tests you could have gotten that a long time ago. If you want it then you should get it. I was in shock and eager. Needless to say it can't be found in any store here. From Target to WalMart to Walgreens and CVS. It's available online on Walmart.com for 179 for the whole bundle. Just wasn't going come in time for me to start testing. I think it can only be used if your cycles are 21-41 days long. I have a little spotting too. Thought she was gone...But she wasn't still see a little when I go pee. Don't get discouraged, I know this cycle has been long but I think you are going to ovulate soon.

Fngrs-thats why i decided to get the 20 pk of the cb digi opks because its in the stores compared to waiting for it to be shipped because we didnt have the time to wait for it.

AFM, im on cd24, my temp is at 97.47 and i got a negative opk. Well yesterday's pain went away. Im assuming it was a pulled muscle. Today's line on the digi opk looked a little darker than yesterday's so im assuming probably within this week or next week i will be o'ing. Well we are going to be busy with family today so might not be on much.

My opks were darker that one day and have been really light. I keep hearing about people getting pregnant around me and it's really getting me down. Naptime! Maybe that will make me feel better.

MsSwizz, Yea the waiting is awful. I guess if we don't get pregnant this cycle (again) then I am going to go ahead and order it. If could have actually gotten an overnight shipment on that then I would have spent the money on it. I mean I could have just started it on CD8 and programmed it for CD5 on that day, but I didn't want to confuse myself or the monitor. So I guess we will see how this cycle goes and then I will get it IF the evil one shows up. I am spotting still today, way l lighter than yesterday. I don't even have to wear a liner, it's only if I go pee. Took a smiley today too to see where I am. It's fairly dark for CD6. I am giving it about 4-5 days then I am thinking I will ovulate on CD12. Guess time will tell if I am correct. I think I may be going back to CD12 for ovulation. I sure hope so. At least CD13. I miss ovulating on CD12.


L.E. I hope you feel better after your nap too. It sucks when everyone else is getting their bfp..We know how you feel. It's like we three are standing here waiting for one. I have been saying Novena's for the 3 of us...I spent 10 hours praying every hour on the hour. So I am going to say one each day now for 9 days. I am thinking I may say them laying flat on my face I know that some ppl pray that way, but I want God to know I am sooooo serious about giving us our little babies. And if that means laying flat on my face to pray, then I will do it. It may sound nuts to other people, but we are in desperate need of our babies.

i was trying to post using the reply with quote, but the stupid advertisement stopped me from replying! covered the whole reply section with some sort of link for makeup! How dumb is that?! I have makeup, but I don't wear it everyday, and I am not interested in ordering it online either. If I could find the section to donate to BnB I would if it would get the advertisements off of my pages...I hope you ladies don't run into that darn Estee Lauder makeup thing..(I think its Estee Lauder)

Posting a pic of my opk this afternoon. Looks decently dark given I am still spotting and it's CD6. Think there is a chance that I am correct about ovulating on CD12? I hope so....

Oh I forgot to tell you ladies this one...I ordered a Fertile Focus off of Amazon! Yayyy! It should be here tomorrow. I can't wait to try that one out. And I won't have to even bother with buying a million dollars worth of opks! The microscope was actually cheaper than the CB digi's! 27.95 for the microscope...Awesome. I think I like to learn new things, so that way I am a well rounded individual. I got the charting course down as well as charting and fertility knowledge. Now I just need to get the CBFM and the ovulation microscope down, and I will be a local fertility specialist... My bestfriend is TTC also, she is older than I am, and she is amazed at my TTC knowledge and she asks a lot of questions about it to me. I just wish she would really get on the TTC train with the opks and charting. I really think it would help her conceive. Plus predicting Ovulation is a lot easier when you chart...She also has regular cycles so she would have her Ov cycle day down in one cycle if she would just temp every morning.

Anyhow...microscope yea that's what I was talking about. I will use it and take pics (if possible) so you ladies so you ladies can check it out too. I hope it comes in the morning. Thinking of a way to preserve my saliva til' it gets here. Any ideas? maybe an eye-dropper sealed in a ziploc snack bag? I am open to suggestions.

Look what I had DH get for me this cycle!!! I am going to try to practice using one before ovulation, so I know how to use it before the big day. I am going to let you ladies know how that works out sometime tonight or in the morning. The look diffucult, if I must be honest. And if I had any experience with using a cervical cap then I would know how to use this one.
