positive opk @ 8dpo...HELP!!!

Welcome back momma! Wow your cycle is flying by already

AFM, im 6dpo and my temp rose to 98.14 this morning. This chart is different than all my charts so far. I had a minut dip, i guess you can i had my fallback temp at 3-4dpo. Well i dont know if i can even label them as fallback temps because there wasnt a big difference. Well, so far my temps have been increasing instead of decreasing which im just watching carefully. I am going to start testing in 3 days. My body does its own thing so im expecting the unexpected because whenever i think it one thing, its always the opposite Well, ff gave me solid crosshairs so i am happy compared to the dashed crosshairs. My tww is going by pretty fast which is bad because that mean the days are flying by and that means soon dh will be leaving. He has 7 days left But i will see him in bootcamp 2 weeks later. Yesterday, dh took his test to be an E-2 and he passed So now im just waiting to take my test on Tuesday. I have been studying so now i just got to keep doing practice tests so i know it like the back of my hand. So i have increased cm, my nipples are still sensitive and my temps are rising. Right now, its leading to pregnancy but never know because i get sensitive nipples and increased cm regularly in the tww . The only difference is my temps are increasing instead of decreasing right now so we shall see. Maybe my LP will increase from 11 days. We shall see.

MzSwizz, I think either way, your temps being up are good... either pregnancy or your body just doing more of what it's supposed to do, so that's great!

Well today is legitimately CD1... started getting cramps around 1 a.m. and the flow came not long after. It's not terrible yet, but it probably will be soon and for several days. If it never gets really heavy and is short, it wouldn't hurt my feelings one bit! I'm prepared for heavy and long though. Hey I'm just glad to be on a fresh cycle!!!

I am waiting on a cover line on TCOYF...smh I thought that I would be getting it with this mornings temp. I guess not. probably tomorrow. And I am going to have my DH pick up some opk's for me today. It's been so hot and humid here, that I don't want to travel any farther than I have to.

My temp this morning was 97.61 (Booooo!!!) It makes my chart look weird! It's not ovulation and it doesn't go hand in hand with my other temps. I think I was just hot or something. I had moments of feeling hot before bed, but didn't temp, or should i say I didn't even THINK to temp. Ovulation has to be happening soon, because I have woke up the last 2 mornings STARVING TO DEATH!!! TCOYF has my CL estimated to be set at 97.8 still (you can look at override cycles to see what they are going to set it at before you actually see it in play), so maybe it (97.61) is a progesterone moment. It's also kind of close to hopping my CL. I am going to read the ol' FERN-O-SCOPE in a minute, waiting on it to dry.

Fngrs-im hoping that my temps just mean that my body finally got it together because my temps were always low during the tww which made me think i had a progesterone issue but maybe my body finally is doing what it needs to do and i am finally getting an actual LP. Well thats what im hoping.

AFM, I have decided to just resign from the job today because im leaving in a few weeks. I think this is the better choice because i would be able to focus more on promoting to E-2, studying and spending time with dh as much as possible before he leaves. This job has just been exhausting and by the time im home, i fall asleep so no time with dh so its the best choice. Now, im 7dpo today yay halfway through the 2ww ajd my temp rose again to 98.18. So im pretty sure this time, ov actually happened. And from looking at my chart, it looks like i dont have a progesterone issue for now so thats a good thing. So far my temps have only been increasing which i guess means my body is doing its job for the first time. And the addict in me did a.test which was neg which i thought it would be. The sensitive nipples are here but the feeling has decreased to mild. I only feel pain if i push hard on them so i think thats going away which most likely means AF will be here soon. Well thats what im hoping is going to happen anyways. No implantation dip, triphasic pattern as of yet but i just love how my chart looks this time and FF isnt confused this time So finally we are getting somewhere.

Momma, Your temps look really good for pre-O.

Fngrs, Your temps still look really good. You usually have some up and down before you O so I'm sure it will go lower for a few days. It has to be nice having "usuals" like being starving during ovulation. I think I was hungrier yesterday but I think AF will do that to you too.

For me, my temp was up today, not sure why, but I know AF temps pretty much do whatever they want. I've been very crampy the past 2 days, which is surprising since I'm not having a super-heavy flow. They're not terrible, but I feel it all day and even in my back (like early back labor). I know that's normal, but I'm not usually a cramper... of course my bleeding isn't usually AF per se. But yea, I think the back pain is weird for me, even with Provera periods.

Me to its driving me crazy im sure it will to i felt hot all night even with 2 fans on me dang crazy bodies we have i saw youra jumped up to one reason i dont temp when af is here is cause my temps are all over the place just put my info in tcoyf and it gave me a coverline of 98

well it's quite possible that your temps are high because you may have caught the egg.

Yes we should be ovulating soon. Af started for me right after you, so you will probably ovulate a couple days before I do. I can't wait to ovulate Momma. Those low temps are a good thing. I am going to get my opk's today. I have been having some cramping today and since I have wanted to eat everything in sight for the past 2 days it's possible ovulation is right around the corner. That's my trademark sign that ovulation is coming. The appetite.

Looks like you are going to be ovulating soon Stacey. Maybe tomorrow you may get a + opk. But your temps look good. that spike could be a little progesterone spike.

L.E. yea that temp is high. But like you said AF temps do what they want. I can say I do have backackes during AF. It's the pits. So maybe this is a sign that this cycle is going to go according to plan. I also don't have cramps during AF. I used to when on BC, but since that changed once that was out of the door. A good heating pad should make it better though.

I am so not used to having a high CL. So seeing the info that TCOYF is going to set it at 97.8 is something mind-blowing for me. But I can't expect it to be any lower given they are vaginal temps. I did temp during AF, orally though, just so my chart didn't look so inactive. But once she left I switched to vaginal and I have the option to delete those if I need to.

Fngrs, I hope this cycle goes well for me. Last time the Provera worked but I waited til about CD51 to O... I'm hoping it comes more like CD12-20 this time. That would be fantastic and I think I'd have such a good chance! The back ache is definitely tolerable. I like to think I have a pretty high pain tolerance. My gallbladder attacks started out as the worst backaches I'd ever had that lasted for hours, so AF cramps/backache are easy peasy comparatively.

I never did answer you about the OPKs. I plan on avoiding them. I still haven't ordered any Wondfos. I may get a couple dollar store tests if say, my temps drop really low or I get a lot of fertile cm with increased drive or something. Other than that, I have no plans on using them. If I can curb my curiosity completely, I'll avoid them. I think I still have one CBD Smiley OPK here too, so I guess that's an option too. I'm just stick of the "almost" lines and no O. I figure either I'll O or I won't, and if I O, I should have an increased drive, plus as long as we're not sick or crazy-busy we usually BD enough that there is always a chance.

This is probably way too much info, but I'm starting to use tampons... 29 years old and finally okay with using them haha. I can't really tell how heavy my flow is this way, but it's so much cleaner. I still can feel them and find it annoying, but I can deal with it. It's really not any less annoying than feeling a million gushes.... ewwwww. So I'm going to try to use them at least part of the time except for light flow and spotting.

EDIT: Nevermind, I can still tell what kind of flow I'm having now that the day has gone by and my cramps are worse....bleh

momma-yes dh leaves in 4 days.

AFM, im 8dpo and my temp is 98.12. I have noticed that my temps have been staying in the 98s lately so i take that as a good sign. Atleast, for the first time, my chart looks like an actual ovulation chart. Even though it took my body forever to get it right, it finally occurred and was successful. DH now has 5 more days before boot camp but he leaves in 4 more days to go to the hotel so in reality, he is leaving in 4 days Time just flew by. Well atleast we can spend as much time together before he goes..which we have been doing anyways and just relaxing. I shall be taking the test to be an E-2 on monday so im excited. Also, lately i have been getting increased cm which is normal for me in the tww but this time, it has really been alot than usual so i dont know whats going on and i have been have the sensitive nipples since 1dpo and it hasnt left yet ugh. Im just ready for the pain to leave because it really is uncomfortable for me. Also, i have been having dry mouth lately and dh told me that means i need to drink more water but when i do, it seems like it doesnt help SO now i have to really increase my water intake. Well thats it for now.
