positive opk @ 8dpo...HELP!!!

I guess I will know when I am pregnant...for my chemicals, the vomiting started early say around 7-8dpo. That was the indicator that something was going on, despite charting. With Masyn I looked at my chart and knew I was pregnant. Hopefully I will either start the early vomiting or be able to look at my chart and know. I looked at yours and knew you were. I could just tell.

Fngrs, I'm glad your mom's sugar levels are down... People can surely go into a coma and/or die from it, so I'm glad she's okay and being monitored! My mom is diabetic, but her levels are pretty well controlled by Metformin. I'm insulin resistant (so I my sister, and DH just found out he is too)... so not diabetic, but we have it on both sides and are IR, so it's quite possible we'll have it someday, though I hope not for a long time (never would be better).

Hopefully the lower temp is a good thing and you'll have a clear shift this time and then a bfp with a sticky bean!! You too, Momma... and me too!!! And Stacey's bean IS going to stay sticky.

AFM, wow sorry ladies I havent been on much. I only have 5 days left before I leave and I must say, I have been very busy getting everything sorted out so I can finally relax before leaving. Im very excited to go in. I cant wait to see DH. My family is coming around now about me leaving to go to the Navy. And they even bought a webcam so we can video chat once I get out of boot camp. We received the formal invite for DH's graduation on August 31st Cant believe he is graduating already. It doesnt seem like he has been in there for like 3 weeks now. Time surely is flying. Speaking of time, I am already on cd14. I havent been really paying attention to my cycle at all. I just want to say that Im going to miss every last one of you. Im so glad that I have you women in my life going through my journey as well as letting me into your journeys. We have been through good times and bad and even whacky times But we have all kept each others' spirits high and always was willing to give out a helping hand and I must say, you ladies made me who I am today as a woman and a wife that is ttc. So i want to say thank you for everything you ladies have done and will do for me in the future And one more thing...i am officially an E2 yay AIRMAN APPRENTICE CLAYTON!!!!

Wow, MzSwizz.... Congrats Airman Apprentice Clayton!! You had my eyes a little wet there. I'll surely miss you around here and it won't even seem right since you're the one who started this thread...so you're the reason we all met!! I know you'll be glad to be near DH again, and I hope it all goes by quickly and we see baby bump pictures before too long!

Thanks MsSwizz...I hate that you are going, even though I know you will be back. It's going to feel like an eternity! Congrats on E-2, I knew you would do well on your test and sure enough you did. I AM glad that you will see your DH soon, congrats to him too. L.E. is right about you are the reason we met. We can't thank you enough for that one. I have enjoyed all the time that we spent together being glad, mad, and wacky. Hopefully by the time you get out of boot camp we will all have good news to share with you. Who knows maybe once you get stationed you will be telling us about your new bump that came from an "reconnection escapade" with Dh, since you guys have been apart! Well ladies the witch and her dog were officially out the door, yard and fence, last night! Yay! I am so glad that she is gone. She made a birthday appearance and left promptly! I mean honestly it was evil of her to show her face at that time, like she would die if she were a little late! The nerve! She is more prompt than a mom dropping her kids off to school on the first day!!! And that's pretty prompt!!! I have got to make her leave for 9 months though, I am getting sick of her visits and the time we have to spend together when she shows up...If I weren't TTC I would pray for menopause! Can you believe I actually thought I would be having a Birthday dancing session? She pulled a fast one on me, ruined that one...poor DH! And I was going to buy a fireman costume for him too!!!

Well hpt's (Clinical Guard) should be here this afternoon. How they make it here faster than the ovulation tests is beyond me! I wouldn't have cared if they were late, heck I don't need them right now! Guess what?! I found the CBE digi hpt with the indicator on it. You know the one that reads out how many weeks you are? The only thing is that it take 15-26 days to get it and it's only a single pack. I would love to have one when I get my bfp, but gosh I would have to order it now in order to have one on reserve just in case I get one, by the end of this cycle or almost the end of the next one. My question is why aren't they sold in the store? I mean they are CBE and you can get the regular ones, what happened to selling those in the store? Matter of fact i think it ships from the UK! :S

Ok ladies, well I just put in today's temp and got a shock... dotted cross-hairs saying I'm 3 dpo!? I really don't think I did and I assume my chart is going to change at some point, but needless to say my jaw dropped when I put in my temp and saw my chart change. My opks have been about as negative as I've ever seen them.

Yea, Stacey. I think FF is wrong too. This is the darkest my opks got so far..... not even close to positive. I think my cross-hairs will be gone within the next couple days.

I would be ecstatic if it were real since I've been waiting almost 6 months to ovulate again. That sounds awful now that I've typed it... C'mon body and OVULATE!!!!! I'm out of opks too... going to go get some more later. I had some twinges yesterday and around 2 a.m. had some actual pain in my right ovary area, and a little bit a few mins ago, but that doesn't mean anything either.

Ha no too far of a drive from Ohio!! Well I really don't know what to think of all this. My cm is still W but there's a lot less of it than yesterday (and yesterday's was slippery)... cvx is fairly high but reachable and feels 1/2 soft and 1/2 hard but my OPK has a better line than it did yesterday. So I'm puzzled. If I did in fact O, then I would say it was a quick surge or I didn't pick it up because I never really held my urine for the tests. Dumb I know, but I figured once I had a decent line I would do the no-drinking and 4 hour hold thing. I never had really concentrated pee. I wanted to be able to drink water whenever I felt like it. Guess we'll see what the next couple days bring.

PS- If I take out my OPKs, I get solid cross-hairs.

yea that is a long drive i use to drive up to MI to see my best friend i have lots of family in Ohio in Athens and in lima hmmm do you think for some reason your opk just didnt go pos this cycle?

I don't know what to think yet... went ahead and put my temps in TCOYF and it does not give cross-hairs, so we'll see. I think last time I got cross-hairs (when I was sick, not real O of course) I think TCOYF was behind FF. I don't like/trust TCOYF as much, but we'll see. I'd consider my temps still at Pre-O, but I've never seen "real O" in my temps, so I have nothing to compare it to. TCOYF has my CL set at 97.4 which makes sense to me, but my temps have been higher the past 3 days than the last 6 so who knows. blah

Well tomorrow and Saturday we're having our garage sale, but I'm sure I'll be on... will just be really busy... Plus our car is ready so I have to go pick that up, sale is over at 6 then clean up and I will have my niece from about 4 tomorrow afternoon overnight. And my brother is doing rowing in some boat race by his house and he wants me to bring my niece there and keep her there all day (7 a.m.-4 p.m.). I love my brother, but I'm already committed to this garage sale with my mom so I told him I will bring her but for maybe 1/2 the day and he can pick the hours. Soooo tomorrow I will likely be getting up 30 mins-1.5 hrs before normal and Saturday will be up to 3 hrs earlier than I usually temp. Not good when FF is giving me crosshairs out of the blue and a little variation makes a big difference. Oh well... either I did or didn't O and there's nothing I can do about it. If I did O on the 16th we BD the day before and the day after and 5 days before... so not quite ideal but a chance anyway.
