Hello, just wondering if anyone could offer some insight. I usually have 26-28 day cycles. I have been testing since CD 8. I got my first positive OPK last night, on CD 18 at 10:30 PM. This means if I ovulated 12-36 hours after my first positive OPK, that would put me at CD 19, which would mean my LP is only 7-9 days long. If so, would getting pregnant not be possible? Please help!!

Is the the first month using OPKs? 7-9 day lp is probably not good but I would see if you get your period and if it does turn out to only be 7-9 days I would ring the gyn and let then know your trying and are concerned about it.

Hi Sprite30, thank you for the reply! This is my second month using OPK's. The last cycle I tested was back in April. I got a positive OPK on 4/21 and my period then started on 5/1, 10 days later. I will wait and see what happens this cycle. I got my first positive OPK on 7/08 (CD 18) at 10:30 PM, my period is due sometime between 7/16 - 7/18. Fingers crossed it won't come until at least 7/18. Thanks for the input!
