What are the chances that this is a new pregnancy? Have any of you experienced this before? I have been recently diagnosed with pcos and the mthfr abnormality which is a clotting issue...this is my 4th miscarriage.

Hi I see no one has replied yet so I'm going to put my thoughts out there! When I had a miscarriage they followed up every week with a blood test to check my beta's were going down and didnt discharge me till it was 0 and I gave a negative pregnancy result, did this not happen with you?
I was also told that you can ovulate 2 weeks after a miscarriage so it could well be a new pregnancy, go to your doctor and get bloods done, only way to find out, good luck xx

Did you ever test negative after your MC? If so, it can definitely be a new pregnancy.
I am currently pregnant straight after a MC b/c I ovulated about 2 wks after the MC.
Good luck! I really hope you got lucky! :flower:

My experience is similar to the other ladies--I had get my blood test once a week until my hcg level was back under 2. I took an HPT myself afterwards because I couldn't believe I was no longer pregnant. That was 2 weeks ago and now my CM is telling me I am about to ovluate and I am having some ovulation pain so I would think it would be possible to get pregnant straight away. Good luck!

Well my labs from wednesday were 23...had to do another one today and wont find out until Monday afternoon, so the wait begins =] I just dont want to get my hopes up again...this is my 4th loss and i am just emotionally drained...it seems like I do fine in the beginning and then when it gets close to AF time I start bleeding and eventually lose the baby...I do have pcos so it might be older eggs since my periods are about 50 something days apart or low progesterone but up until now my asshole of a ob/gyn wouldnt test me for anything telling me "its normal to have miscarriages"....thats when this happened I found a RE that is a specialist in the state of Texas from UTMB...a good 2 hour drive from my house but its hopefully going to be worth my time. The nurse called Friday evening to tell my about my beta levels and also said that she could tell on my previous labs where they did bloodwork that I had an elevated insulin level for my 2 hour fasting insulin [2hour fasting glucose was perfect] and my testosterone level was 55 and the high normal is 45? What does this mean/Is it just part of the pcos? What will they most likely do for me?
