So this afternoon after I was done a bunch of running around, I decided to pee on a hpt and a opk.

I stuck the two tests together side by side (they might have been touching, but I can’t fully remember). The opk starts turning a second line and so I was thinking okay .. normal enough. But then I looked away and after 5 minutes I go to read the results and what the heck! A positive HPT, and a “negative” opk.

I’m finding it hard to believe I was able to get a positive hpt (I’m CD25).
Is it possible that if the two tests were touching that I had dye run from the opk to the hpt test and thus creating a positive on the hpt?
I’m just trying to wrap my head around this. I tried a frer (with barely any pee left in me because I wasn’t expecting a positive hpt) that I couldn’t find a line on.

I tried again with about a 3 hour hold, this time touching the tests together while waiting.. and I noticed the hpt turning a positive line. So I separated the tests and it’s almost as if it stopped the dye from running.

So... positive hpt, or faulty because it’s possible that dye ran from the opk into the hpt by touching?
Just trying to wrap my head around this.

Picture with 3 tests is the first time.
(Negative hpt was from the morning)

Photo with two tests was later on. Notice how it kinda looks half dyed?

I would definitely say that's a true BFP! Buy a FRER if you can!!!!

Pee on a stick freak does a video on this on YouTube. Apparently the OPKs can cause hcg tests to have a false positive. That said, I would test again. Fingers crossed!

Thanks! I’ll try to test again Sunday night. As were camping right now haha.

Okay! So I peed on a frer this evening.
For being two days later from when I last tested and got a neg frer, but positive wondfos.

Also take into account this was like an hour and half after I had already gone earlier. I was having trouble falling asleep so I went and took one.

Let me know, or if you think it’s too light and it’s just an Evap. It did come up within 10 mins.

I’m also really trying not to get my hopes up.

Mozzarella do you have pics of the wondfos?? I think I see it on frer but you had a really small hold. Also do you know how many dpo you are??

I think I remember you on ttc after bcp thread I was on. Really got my FX this is it for you!!

I had no idea there was a correlation between OPK/HCG touching, sorry! But either way, I do see a faint line on your new test, so fx!

So that test turned out to be an evap. No test after that ended up coming up with any more lines. Digis said not pregnant. So I figured I was out.

Currently CD 45, still haven’t had AF.
I for the heck of it took a test tonight, and I could see the faintest of line that came up within 5-6 mins. This one looks like it might have color to it. I really hadn’t held my pee or anything and was just like eh, I have a test. I’ll try.

Soooo. Trying not to get my hopes up again this time. But I will be buying tests and trying again tomorrow. FX this is it.

Yes Fleuky! I remember you :)

Also no clue as to what DPO I am, but I do think I ovulated late perhaps.

Here’s a picture of it.
It looks sort of similar to the last time so I’m hoping it’s not an Evap again.

But this one does seem darker than last time?

Mozzarella that looks like early bfp to me and not evap/indent. Those are more "ghosty" in my experience.

Test again tomorrow :)

That is looking good to me! Praying it's your bfp.
Did you do one today?? :)
