So this afternoon after I was done a bunch of running around, I decided to pee on a hpt and a opk.
I stuck the two tests together side by side (they might have been touching, but I cant fully remember). The opk starts turning a second line and so I was thinking okay .. normal enough. But then I looked away and after 5 minutes I go to read the results and what the heck! A positive HPT, and a negative opk.
Im finding it hard to believe I was able to get a positive hpt (Im CD25).
Is it possible that if the two tests were touching that I had dye run from the opk to the hpt test and thus creating a positive on the hpt?
Im just trying to wrap my head around this. I tried a frer (with barely any pee left in me because I wasnt expecting a positive hpt) that I couldnt find a line on.
I tried again with about a 3 hour hold, this time touching the tests together while waiting.. and I noticed the hpt turning a positive line. So I separated the tests and its almost as if it stopped the dye from running.
So... positive hpt, or faulty because its possible that dye ran from the opk into the hpt by touching?
Just trying to wrap my head around this.
Picture with 3 tests is the first time.
(Negative hpt was from the morning)
Photo with two tests was later on. Notice how it kinda looks half dyed?
