Hi Ladies,
I have just been to see my GP with a bit of an embarrassing problem.
For the last couple of weeks, a couple of times a day, when I go to the toilet, I am getting some light green/yellow discharge on the toilet paper (sorry!) It does not happen every time I go, and is never a huge amount, so I have not been unduly worried. I have been having it again this week, so finally bit the bullet and went to see my GP tonight.
She was lovely, and has prescribed a pessary for me to use tonight (Clotrimazole) but she did not do any tests or anything else - she wants me to go back on Monday morning and have some swabs taken.
So now I am in a bit of a dilema - I don't really want to use this pessary, I am not keen on taking anything whilst pregnant, and the thought of having to put something up "there" at the moment, is not something I really want to do.
I have no other symptoms, no redness, no soreness, no itching - nothing, just this light green discharge possible once or twice a day when I go to the toilet (I really don't think it is Thrush)
I would prefer to wait until the test results come back, and then if they show something, I will have to use it - but if they come back clear, I will have used it for no reason.
What would you all do? Have any of you used this in pregnancy?
