possible to get more follicles?

Hi girls! I am also just starting my iVF/ICSI/PGD cycle... i have been taking Gonal f 225 since monday (4 days) and I had an ultrasound today that showed 4 follicles in the right ovary and only 2 on the left.

These number are quite low, aren't they? Do I still have a chance? Is it possible that more follicles will show up as I continue taking gonal f, or the 6 I have now are all I will get?

I have no idea. I only have 3 on my left and 4 on my right. At first I was disappointed and thought I had done something wrong, but my FS is happy with what I have and their size.
I also had no terrible bloating, mood swings, cramps or any other side effects some ladies get, so I guess what I have is right for me.
So I would suggest not to worry and just let them grow

Bek, thanks for your reply. I just spoke to my IVF coordinator and she said in the baseline scan I had 9 follicles. Very weird that now, after injecting myself with Gonal f for 4 days I only have 6??? Sometimes it is better not to know these things and just go through the motions.
