postgraduate study

Is anyone doing/applying/considering postgraduate study?

I have finally got myself into gear and written off to the course co-ordinator for a Masters degree that I have had my eye on for about 3 years lol. I don't have the money yet, and we need to move house first, but I figured that it's going to take a while to apply etc so I wanted to feel like I was doing something.

I hope to start in 2016 but probably 2017 as I will need that time to save up the fees.

Anyone else?

I've not been on in a while (ironically due to my postgrad, I said to myself I would stay off forums until I've finished it, but I'm off work sick today so letting myself off lol) so yeah you know I'm doing mine, diploma will be finished by June and I am hoping to do the dissertation by Feb next year to graduate 2016. Which masters are you going for? Feel free to PM me if you ever want to talk about it.

Oh and just to add, have you looked into a career development loan? I took one out at the start of my masters, you don't have to make any payments for 2 years and interest is not accrued during that time either, by the time it came to making my first payment 2 years later I was able to pay off the loan in full having paid no interest. If you do need to keep it going as a loan after the 2 years you can look for a more competitive bank loan take that out instead to pay off the career development loan.

This is the dream, I have seen a few Masters courses but I am in no way in a position to be able to do it yet. Good luck!
