Postpartum freezer meals. Really necessary?

I forgot to mention, you can always just do a meal a day or double up on your recipes for the next couple days and freeze half so that you don't have to do one big exhausting freezer meal day. :) Just a thought.

I'm planning on cooking, shredding and freezing a bunch of chicken. Also, probably brown up a bunch of ground beef. This way I can whip up some meals pretty quickly and I can make what I want at the time and not be stuck with specific frozen meals!

I made freezer meals early in third tri and it was exhausting. It's nice to have them, but if I'd had someone over here cooking for the first two weeks, I don't think I'd have bothered, especially with how tired I was right at the end. I did stock up on easy, one hand snacks, and they've really come in handy.

I never made freezer meals, and I don't plan to this time either.
