ok so yesterday i went o have a look at twin prams, i dont like the ones where you have 1 baby behind the other i dont like the idea of not being able to see one of my twins... so i saw a really nice one wich was two carrycots side by side, only when we measured the widest point of it , wich was the handles we found that it is too big to fit through any standard front door! also a bit bulky to go walking around a little shop in.. so i was really gutted about this as i have looked at a few others and they are all the same width,

the idea being was if i get one that i like then everytime i leave the house i am goin have to spend ages taking the pram down again on return and what if my babies are asleep? i will have to disturb them whilst doin so! :hissy:

so it looks like i am goin have to get a pram what i dont like! haha typical! :baby:

Haha that's a bit daft isn't it! You'd think they'd make them more door friendly!
xo

Its difficult hun,
I didnt have twins but my first 2 were only 12 months apart so i had to have a double.

None of the side by side ones went through my door way or alot of the shop doorways in the town near where i live so i had to get a one in front of the other one.

One of my kiddies was older tho so it didnt matter so much.........good luck with your search hun, remember youve plenty of time and a good pram is a godsend so dont rush it xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

haha ano bt i fell in love with this pram tooo, but oh well! i spose i have got a lot of time like you say! they cud bring somethin out in the next 4 months to my likin haha x

What about these ones. Have you measured these up? I think they're quite cute. They're unusual, but really nice.

Thats quite nice AG, But I would want to be able to see my babies whilst pushing them...do the seats turn around?

yeah they do have a look at the bottom of the page and it has loadsa diff positions x

Oh yeah, so they do..... I like that one best.

I dunno what I'm looking for I'm not even having twins...thank goodness lol!

i have pushed many double pushchairs round various places when i worked at a nursery, and i always found that the side by side ones we all really hard to get around shops and stuff, and pretty mch impssible if you need to get on a bus etc.

but the twins i nanny for have one of the ones where they sit in front of each other and i have to say it is excellent, theres you could also use it like a travel system with the car seats face forwards so you could see both of them when they were little. now the only time i can't see them both is if i put the hoods on, and it is much easier to push. theres is a jane one which is pretty expensive but i think you can get cheaper ones like it.

I love the icandy pear, and i find out if i am having twins (IVF) on 3rd Nov and if i am i will most definatley be getting the pear. https://www.babybirds.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?products_id=1492
If you like side by side prams then have a look at Firstwheels City Elite Twin, i love this one cos you can have both twins facing you or outwards, or one of each, and you get carry cots too, so loads of different options! https://www.preciouslittleone.com/acatalog/FWFWTELITEB.html

Happy looking xxx
