Pre seeds?

Hi all.....Has anyone tried or looked up info on using pre seeds to help get pregnant?

Hi Lea05x. I am trying Preseed this month. The research suggests that it helps if you don't have enough CM as far as i know. There are a few posts on here of people using it and getting pregnant but presumably you would need to have a prob with CM for it to increase odds. Thats my take on it anyway.

Hi Nuffmac, thanks for your reply....i didnt realise this lube was for people with CM probs. My friend tried it and days later she was pregnant. Where did you get yours from? online? Im thinking of ordering some but not 100% sure.

yeah ordered it from amazon uk. i also ordered conceive plus and am going to alternate the two. I've read a good few posts on here where people have said they've gotten pregnant quite quickly after using it but the box said it will help if you have CM problems. I think that you could have CM issues and not even realise it too. Its hard to tell whats normal!! Anyway i'd say give it a shot. It can't do any harm and may make things more fun!!

I've been using the last few cycles and so far nothing, i've heard of it working for other people, i guess it depends on if its lack of EWCM stopping you falling preggo.. i don't seem to have much myself so really though Pre-seed was going to be my miracle, but so far nothing, but using it again this month, you buy it online.

If you'd rather you can but a lube in boots called conceive plus, its the same sort of thing but its meant to be better than pre-seed because it contains things that actually help the spermies survival and from what i've read, i the pre-seed just doesn't kill the sperm like other lubes but doesn't have extars to help them like magnesium and some other things can't remember then now.. no luck for me with either though! Yes it makes things more fun my DH was interested when i got ou the pre-seed... it comes in these funny little pouch things... lol.. you'll see when you order

Is it easy to use tho Sophe? How long have you both been ttc for? Im going into my third month now and I really thought I would be pregnant by now but im not, gutted x

i got 'applicators' with mine. Basically you put some into it and then put the tube in and squeeze it out as close to ur cervix as possible. It's fairly straight forward.

this is my fourth cycle ttc but we were NTNP for a good few years prior to this. I always thought it would just happen. I find its more stressful now that we are actively trying. I didn't worry as much about it when we were NTNP.

Still though I've learned alot more about my cycles and stuff so all that should help. do you chart and stuff?

Ive just been following an ovulation calendar via an app on my phone but have come to realise that this is not very accurate so this month i have some ovulation test strips im going to use to help track it better. Im defo going to order some pre seeds tho, found a website that sells it for £14, is that good? Also how do you get the information at the end of each of your posts up? You where it says you've been married so long and etc. I havent got a clue how to do it lol x

they are calle dtickers. If you click on one that youlike you'll be redirected to a ticker site and you can make your own. Then you add it in to your 'signature' which you can access with the 'quicklinks' button on the top of the page. Then copy and paste the link for you ticker and voila!! There is a section for testing your ticker on the bnb homepage.

oh yeah - I was using a phone app too but I found a site called fertilityfriend.com that you can set up a chart using bbt and other symptoms. It'll track your cycles and seems much better than the apps or anything and is very informative. I dunno if your doing bbt though.

The packages are different but they seem about the same?

I think they are the same. just seems one has new packaging. they both say they do the same thing and both have same pic on box.

i was going to use pre seed this month along w/ my 1st round of clomid but i think i will wait till next month to give it a try.... I'm getting mine at the drug store which I just found out they carry

Also not sure what "normal" CM really means so not sure if i'm "normal"
Guess I am or the FS would have mentioned it. Right?
