Pregnancy 6 going well, stay strong!

Hi all you lovely ladies, just wanted to share our story and hopefully give some of you a bit of hope. We lost our first baby due to an ectopic pregnancy, 15 months later we have birth to a beautiful baby girl. When she was four, we found out we were expecting again. Unfortunately, I miscarried at 6 weeks and then had another 2 miscarriages at 6 and 7 weeks with the final one resulting in an ERPC. Because we had 3 consecutive losses, we then "qualified" for testing and were faced with mixed emotions when all results came back clear and showed there was no medical reason for the losses. I faced some really low times. In July of this year, we came back from holiday and found out I was pregnant with baby number 6! To say I was petrified was an understatement. My fear clouded my happiness and I waited for the inevitable to happen again at 6 weeks. However, I sit here today 22 weeks pregnant with a healthy growing baby inside and can feel her moving as I type and feel absolutely blessed. I just hope this story can bring some hope to you all as I know I had given up hope and resigned myself to the idea that we were destined to only have one beautiful girl. I pray for every one of you that are pregnant after any loss and would welcome you to chat or message me as I'm happy to share my experience. Just because we didn't hold our babies doesn't mean they never existed and I think we should break the taboo of miscarriage and not speaking of it. Sending lots of live and positivity your way! I am so happy for you that your little rainbow is doing well. I'm currently 23 weeks pg with my rainbow. Its been a long journey to get this far but everytime I feel my lil man kick it makes me feel that my dreams of becoming a mum will hopefully come true and I will get to hold this little one. This time of year is the anniversary of both my losses and they are forever in my heart and my mind. But I have hope for the little one I carry.

Thanks your story inspired me.. im pg with #4 I've had three MCs in six months I'm so scared right now that it will happen ahain . I lost all of mine around four weeks. I haven't got to go to an appointment for a specialist yet BC I lost the last one almost four weeks ago. I'm so desperate and just want to run to the store and get aspirin and pro estrogen stuff but idk of it with help or hurt. I'm so confused BC I can't get help right now and I'm so scared any day another mc will happen. But on the bright side your story gives me hope, thanks for sharing

4angels thank you so much for sharing your story. I have had 2 miscarriages. The first one in June of this year at 5 1/2 weeks and then second in October of this year at just over 6 weeks. My husband and I do not have any children and we are trying for our first. After my first mc my doctor told us to wait one cycle and then we could try again. So we did and got pregnant the second month of trying. Then I mc'd again and he told me to wait two cycles this time. So literally today we were able to start trying for the 3rd time. I'm excited, but absolutely terrified as I'm so scared to go through it again. For my 1st two pregnancies I just took a prenantal vitamin and that was it. After my 2nd loss I'm bothered my doctor so much they finally gave in to testing me. Here's what was found.

Thyroid-normal
FSH-normal
Estradiol-normal
Progesterone-normal
AMH-normal
Anticardiolipin Antibody-slightly abnormal (blood clotting disorder) and I knew already that I have Factor V Leiden Heterozygous which is also a blood clotting disorder. I have never had to take anything for it before and I have never had a blood clot. So this time around since I've had 2 miscarriages I'm taking a baby aspirin once a day, prescribed prenatal vitamins with more folic acid in them, omega 3's, vitamin c and vitamin d3, along with cutting out caffiene completely. As soon as I get a BFP again I will go in to my hematologist and have my clotting levels checked and if they are higher I will be put on Lovenox injections. That scares me, but I will do them if it means I can have my rainbow. I'm praying 3rd times a charm for us. I'm 31 and my husband is 33, so we're not getting any younger and we have always wanted 2 kids, but at this point...we'd be blessed to just have one.

I am so sorry to hear what has happened to you amandadchan, have you had any testing done to see what could be causing the miscarriages? I know how frightening it is to fall pregnant again after a miscarriage because even although I am now 25 weeks pregnant, I am still so scared that something will go wrong. I think it's important to not put to much pressure on ourselves as this can sometimes cause unwanted stress which I guess can't be good. Mrs Reineke, I am also very sorry for your losses. I really hope you get your rainbow baby too! I think it's disgusting that we need to push for these tests. I hope everything works out for you and your husband. It's always nice to hear from people that have experienced the same feelings I have as I know how lonely things can get after a miscarriage. I made it passed my period day which was yesterday and that is when I lost the others buuuuttt I made it past that hump.. now for some strange news...last night I had a cramp or two that woke me up. It felt weird like my tube on my right side was being tugged at. Now today I get a cramp every four hours it doesn't last long and doesn't hurt that bad but scares the crap outta me..also this morning I felt sick,weak and hungry so I ate alot and felt better. No bleeding tho so that is the bright thing about it!!

Amazing and I'm so delighted you've made it past that point. I honestly thank God for every day I get through which is sad because we should be able to enjoy our pregnancies progressing without feeling so stressed about getting through each day! Sounds as tho you're getting some ligament pain from baby growing? I've been quite achy all weekend, constantly over analysing every pain and niggle! Haha! AFM: CD 15 and I think I ovulated within the past couple days. We've been BDing, so I'm hoping we have caught it even though the thought of getting pregnant again terrifies me. But, I'm doing everything I can from my end and now I just need to put it in God's hands and pray for the best.
