Pregnant by using Clomid

I was wondering if any of you all got pregnant by using clomid? My doctor is finally going to put me on it next month. I would like to hear personal stories. I know all the statisics but, I just want to see if I should be hopeful or not. Thanks

I did!!! I got preg on my second cycle of 100 mg clomid.

Hey, I personally havent been prescibed clomid. I was given metformin, but my mum was prescribed clomid and has 4 children. Don't give up hope, and I'm sure everything will be fine.

YAY!! I am just really frustrated at the moment. I have wanted children for 3 years, but my husband wanted to wait a little bit, however, we did not use any form of birth control. We have been officially TTC for 18 months and nothing! I have PCOS and only get af maybe 4 times a year on my own. It's takin a big toll on my emotions. Most of my friends are pregnant with their 2 child since we started TTC. I just needed some encouragement, Thanks ladies.

Aww dont worry, we're always here for a lil support! My mum has PCOS and so do I. From the forums a lot of women with PCOS have gone on to have successful pregnancies. Don't stress too much about getting pregnant. Take the clomid, folic acid etc and eat healthy, but try not to stress too much about conceiving. Me and DH had been trying on and off for 2 years. When I started metformin we would try to be intimate every 3 days and it kinda got stressful so we decided for me to just take the metformin and just let our bodies decide when to be intimate, not to have baby-making sex. I'm pretty sure I conceived on one of the occasions where I was as stress-free as I could be!

we had been trying for 8 years! did 4 months of clomid with no luck & hubby said no more lets do iui so we did 4 months of that with again nothing so we took 6 months off so i could lose some weight (had 20kgs to lose- lost 5kgs) & so i could visit my brother & his wife & new baby in England. came home went back to my baby dr who suggested we try clomid again since i wanted to take another 6 months to try lose more weight. first go it worked! (after mucking up my amount- i was meant to take 100mg but took 50 ooppss!)

Had been trying for 4 years - and then diagnosed with PCOS and prescribed Clomid. Fell pregnant on my first cycle with 50mg days 2-6. I would also like to add that I took up acupuncture on this cycle - so it could've been either or both! But I am now due in November - team yellow. Good luck to you and I'm sure you'll get your BFP very soon.

i didnt but my friend did on the first try of using it. she has endometriosis and they were trying for a year without success. she was doubtful too but they got pregnant! and just had a baby boy last week

yes i got pregnant on my 1st cycle of clomid 50mg.
if u go to long term ttc section there is a clomid club thread there, i started off there and the girls are all lovely and give lots of support and advice.

i did, first time was in december but i sadly miscarried at 6 weeks & then again in june & so far little one is doing fab! i was taking 50mg on days 3-7 & my cycles were every 30 days, i used opk's for the first few cycles so i knew when i ovulated.

I got pregnant on my 3rd round of 50mgs. That stuff makes ya crazy, but it was totally worth it.

I have PCOS and didnt really have af on my own. Was given Clomid 50mg's which gave me normal 29 day cycles and I fell pregnant on my 3rd round
