Pregnant W/ Irregular Cycles...so Confused

hello everyone..i just found out that im pregnant..my cycles can be very irregular..my lmp was on 9.27 and cant really remember having unprotected sex with DH til about a month ago or maybe a little less..the doctor told me according to my HCG levels i am very early less than 2 months...have any of you experienced this??...having an irregular cycle and being pregnant..all of this is confusing i just wanna know how far along i am!!

Talk to your doctor about having a dating sonogram, that way you can know where you are in your pregnancy.

i did. i have a very irregular period too and i am also 2 months. but my doctor told me how far along i was. why didn't yours? did you ask him?

all i was told was that i was very early less than 2 months..which is what i would be going by my LMP...but i guess my hcg levels show otherwise..i had gone to the emergency room because i wasn't feeling well and thats how i found out i was prego..so they didn't do a u/s only took blood and urine and ran a bunch of tests..they said everything was fine..but now i have to follow up with an OB which i will be calling on monday to make an appt..can i request a u/s or is that something they will assign for when they want it?...this is my 1st pregnancy so i am clueless..please bare with me lol

i don't want to ask for 1 to early because im scared that they might not see anything yet..i've heard of moms getting freaked out because they had early u/s..and the baby still hadn't developed

if you don't want one then ask them if theres another way they could tell u.

i guess i can do that..i asked the nurse in the hospital if they were able to tell exactly how for along i was and she said no they just knew that i was early..

no i don't they didn't tell me..if im less than 2 months i would say im about 4 weeks at most going by the time we had unprotected intercourse..what should my numbers be?

I read in another thread what they should be..I am trying to find it will let you know if I do!! I dont know how many weeks I am going from my LMP it was 7/8wks but I had an U/S & there was nothing there I got bloods done & doctor rang me last night to say level had not doubled but had increased going for U/S 3rd Dec........this happened me with my 1st pregnancy 10 yrs ago & I went on to have a healthy pregnancy so I am trying to stay positive!!
