If I fill bottles with cooled boiled water can I just add power when needed?? Or do they need to be a certain temp? If they do can I half fill a bottle then add half of boiling water when needed and add powder?? Because I couldn't stand to boil kettle and wait 30 min to make a bottle every time, she'd be crying the whole time!!

I do this on a night yes... If LO likes it at room temp then it's fine although some ppl will argue that you need the boiled water to kill he bacteria in he milk powder but I think you can get over loaded with what is right and what is the wrong way of doing things! Or you could half full the bottles with cool oiled water then top up with boiled water out of a thermos flask so it's still quite warm for when you feed LO and add the formula x

I premake them and store them in the back of the fridge,
No way could I
a) be bothered to wait at silly o'clock in the morning with a screaming baby while the water cools down,
B) cope with such a huge disruption to our sleep.

I premade the bottles with my first 2, and I'm happy to do it again with this one.

I do the half and half method. She is on 2oz so have one ounce boiled water in fridge ready then in a new bottle when feeding time, I put one ounce of boiling water, then 2 scoops of formula then top up with the cooled stuff!! That way we know our measurements are correct. And the temp is good then for baby!! Once you do it a few times you get in a little routine!! The bottle that had the cooled stuff in it can then be saves for the next feed for the boiling water to go in!
Hope this makes sense!!
X
