My RE has told me that clomid would not be an option, i have pof due to chemotherapy, i have had 2 spontaneous pregnancies and am trying for no 3.

My FSH last month was 5, which is ok, i realy want to give clomid ago!!! What do you think???

Have you had the 2 spontaneous pregnancies after chemo?

Either way, I don't really think that clomid would hurt. You could always try it for a few months if you really think it might work.
If no results, then move on.

What options are they giving you if no to Clomid?

After reading everything about FSH, I would think it would be worth a try with Clomid if your FSH level is OK and with 5 that's good. Of course there maybe more to it. Did you have the AMH drawn? I just thought if the FSH was elevated that's when fertility drugs do not help. But, I'm sure there is something I don't know! Or shall I say ALOT I don't know! lol! Good luck to you!

Readyformore- The 2 pregnancies were after chemo which i had when i was 15, im now 30.

I had the AMH test done before i fell pregnant with my first which was 0.3. My Specialist was quite shocked as it happened on the second cycle. She seems to think that because of myn age and egg quality are good.

Im now having trouble conceiving my third, i had a scan on CD 9 this cyclewhich showed a 13mm follicle i dont think there were any others.

I think it's encouraging that you conceived twice after chemo.

How long have you been ttc?

I have only been ttc for 5 months this time, im just impatient as i guess everyone else is. But my cycles have become irregular and i have had a few episodes of hot flushes and night sweats.
