Prescribed Co-codamol and still in pain

I went to the Dr about my migraines last night as paracetamol, a dark room and cold compress wasn't touching them and she prescribed co-codamol. I felt a migraine starting earlier this afternoon so took one tablet and it's still coming on so I've just had to take another one.

Co-codamol has to work surely? I didn't think I'd get them anymore with a stronger pain killer.

what strength are the tablets hun? i get migraines and also gall bladder attacks. the co codamol my Dr gave me are 30mg codine and 500mg paracetamol x
