I miscarried last year (april 2011) so was absolutely in denial when i found out i was pregnant in January, so worried i booked in for a early scan a few weeks after finding out i was pregnant..
Baby measured at 7+6 days which was spot on for LMP and babys hearbeat was strong & beating at 163bpm but even after seeing my little bean is ok i still cant accept im pregnant & doesnt seem real :/ anyone else the same?

as you can see from my 'signature', my LO arrived earlier this month and even now, I still can't believe it!

how you feel is normal, try to relax and hopefully, hitting some of the milestones (12wk scan, 16wk, feeling baby move, viability at 24wks, etc.), will give you some peace of mind, but it can be hard not to let the negativity/fear overwhelm you -- honestly, take it one day at a time...

I feel the same. I had a mc in June and found out January I'm pregnant. I've had two scans because I had spotting and then to recheck the heartbeat. Everything is good now and size is right on target but it doesn't feel real. I feel Sick And terrible so I know it's happening but it's just not sunk in yet. I'm thinking by my first real appointment and 12 week scan it will seem more real. Guess I just don't want to get my hopes up in fear of another mc.
