Progesterone shots after BFP

Hi everyone. I'm just about 6 weeks pregnant after IVF, and DH is still giving me a shot of progesterone every night. I absolutely hate the shots, at this point I've been getting shots daily for months. You think I'd be used to it by now, but I'm not! Anyone know when I can stop taking these shots? I know I will have to wait until the Dr says to stop, but I'm curious when any of you were able to stop?

I was on vaginal progesterone cream when I was pregnant. The doc made me continue progesterone till I hit my 2nd trimester (this is when the placenta takes over fully).

I want to say it's like 10-12 weeks (don't quote me, I didn't want to read and run). You can also ask to switch to suppositories however they are much more expensive.
