Progestogen only pill- 3 months PP

Hello all,

It feels strange already asking a question on here at 3 months pp.
I have been on the pill for 2 months. I know it says to take it consistently at the same time each day, that is an accident waiting to happen here.

I have also read some women still ovulate on it, I think I am that lady, I have still bled and felt ovulation.
I am now ultra paranoid as we did the deed for the first time since baby 13 weeks ago.

we dtd and I ovulated that next day and then forgot the pill 2 days after.

am I correct to be worried? Has anyone got pregnant on this pill?

I haven't but one of my friends did. I think it's quite rare that it happens though. I guess all you can do is test 14/15 days past when you think you ovulated and check. xx

I took ot for 30 days, no bleeding or ovulation. I would sometimes miss it by 2 hours but never missed a day.

But it warns that some ppl it wont work that well for which creeped me out thinking it will stop working on me.

Get a blood test to be for sure at 10 to 11 days after suspected ovulation or the deed.

I went on the mini pill 6 weeks post partrum after DS.

I didn't know u had to take it at the same time each day but I did take mine everyday but not at the same time.

Had 2 periods a month on it.
Also got achey boobs.
And spotting inbetween the bleeding.

Once or twice I thought I was pregnant on it bit I wasn't and was told on here it's very unlikely.

But I do know there is a small chance it can fail.
You didn't take it for 2 days so that cud prove risky.

I guess all u can do is wait it out hon.

When I stopped the mini pill it took us 11 cycles to conceive this one.

I did fall pregnant 4 other times in 2020 but all were chemical pregnancies.
