Provera--how long till AF?

Hey ladies,

I seem to be asking more questions in the pregnancy areas but my questions are more for the women who have become pregnant. I posted this in TTC and NOBODY answered so hoping to get some answers here!

I am currently taking provera to jump start AF so I can start on my first round of clomid. For the women who have had to take Provera before, I was just wondering how long after stopping provera did AF finally arrive?

I know that it has been months for most women on here to answer this question but if yall remember it would surely help me out!

ummm i think for me it was about 2 maybe 3 days. i never had to take the whole 5 days of it. i would feel it comming on and just stopped at day 3 usually then 2 or 3 days off and start. provera was the only thing that worked to bring on AF, but provera will not cause you to O it only brings on a withdrawl bleed. but im not sure how messed up your cycles are or if you have problems with O and thats y your on it....just telling you how it was for me good luck

edit- with clomid and provera i got preg after 2 cycles.....u may not even need it for the next cycle if u dont get preg because my body picked up on the clomid right away and brought on O that month so the next i had AF then got preg!!!!!

It can take up to 14 days after your last Provera tablet for your 'period' to come. Unfortunately you just have to be patient although for most it is a lot quicker than that
