I thought I would be better posting here rather than the pregnancy forums. I'm looking at pushchairs for my second child. We don't have a lot to spend probably £250 maximum (without car seat as we have one already). I've seen the isafe 2 in 1 and like the look of it but am wondering about quality. Baby is due in December so it will need a good rain cover and the only suitable one (that I've found) doesn't have good reviews. It also needs to be sturdy with a buggy board on it and easy to use one handed as I'll have my 2 year old as well. Does any one have this pushchair and can tell me how it is to use? I'm also looking at the mothercare xpedior (either 3 or 4 wheeled) if anyone has any experience with this one. Or any other recommendations would be great.

Have you looked at the babyjogger city mini? The RRP is £270, but you can generally get them for less than £250 on offer. Well made, suitable from birth but will last as they get older, can fit a buggy board and car seat. Everyone I know who has 1 raves about it.

I have seen the babyjogger and I like the look of it but I'd prefer a parent facing pushchair.

Hello!!
I too was looking at the isafe but was worried about how good it was in real life! As luck would have it I saw a woman pushing one so went and asked!! She said it was really good, and she'd had no issues with it. She'd had it 18 months, since her son was born.
I was also looking at the 4 wheel xpedior which I tested out round mothercare! I then brought one from the ebay shop nurserysavings for £112! They sell mothercare items that have been returned. They have a rating system, for example a grade is brand new, b grade has been opened and looked at etc. Definitely worth a look. I also brought a crib from them.

I had a Baby Jogger City Mini with DS1 and absolutely loved it. I had bought a travel system when I was pregnant which I also liked but I loved the ease of the fold of the baby jogger and my DS was a tall boy so the seat was much better for him and it was lovely to push.

I bought a cheap travel system this time round as I like having a carrycot when they're tiny and having them parent face in the beginning but I'm planning on another baby jogger when he's bigger like I did before.

Mamas and papas have certain colours of the baby jogger reduced to £200 at the moment as well.

We had the mother care orb. Infactwe still have it because iI'm having a hard time parting from it. Its a dream to push one handed, sturdy, and the basket was a good size. the rain cover held up really well. I love how it foes from parent to world facing in seconds. DD loved it. We used it every single day. The only issue I had with it was sometimes the handle didn't click but you just need to give it a wiggle. It didn't really bother me because everything else was amazing. Actually another problem I have is that my DD grew it out way too soon. She was just too long for it but she is quite long ( in 18-24 month trousers at just before one. We got ours preloved because we thought she would take after her brother and hate pushchairs but she loved it. We only paid £100. we never used a buggy board so can't comment on that.

Thank you DCS I like the orb but it's a bit too much full price. I'm going to check eBay etc when we are a bit closer to actually buying at the moment I just want ideas and opinions.
Dom85 the babyjpgger is very similar to my dd pushchair. It looks great but I'm wanting something suitable for a newborn so like you I want parent facing.
