I wouldn't give your LO a bottle right away because it can give them nipple confusion, we waited til both kids were around 3 weeks before we introduced anything besides the boob (pacifiers ect.)

I would make sure they have the latch down and are comfortable nursing.

my mother went back to medical school after having me and I wouldn't take a bottle.. so I drank from a cup! There are other options to a bottle if the baby won't take one, it will require more assistance from who ever is helping feed them, but like you said you can't take him to work so you'd have to find something!
