question about follicles

hi im new to ivf and went for a scan on monday i was told i had 20 follicles 12 on the left and 8 on the right she said all looked really good what do you think ?

was this on cd 2 or 3 or 4? if it was - it is your antral follicle count (the maximum number of eggs you could possibly produce during an ivf cycle).

when i had this scan done the results came out that I had 8 on one side and 9 on the other. However, my amh result came back as 1.4 and fsh 19. I was then advised that I only released one egg at a time and could not look at ivf as an option due to my body being already stimulated to the max. Any opinions on my results. Is it really as bad as they have made it out to be?
