Question for those of you who have had twin pregnancies...

I am 6weeks 2days today and at my scan the OB saw two sacs- one had a baby with a heartbeat of 113 and the other they just saw a yolk sac. I have to go back in a week with the sonographer for another ultrasound to see if there are actually twins in there.

Any of you who have had twins, at your early scan did you have a sac that was unequal to the other one? Did it catch up in growth?

I currently have a 21 month old and a 9 month old so PHEW, if it IS twins this mama is gonna be in overdrive LOL.

My twins were a day apart and both had heart beats at 6 wks + 4 however it’s not uncommon to find they can also be 1 week apart and catch up later.

Twins are hard work but awesome, I wouldn’t change it for the world. Wishing you a happy and healthy twin pregnancy.
