Question on cycle pls help

Hey girls I have a question.
So I was usually 24-27 day cycle but as of last month that my periods are messed up. They said I have an ovarian cyst so idk if that's the reason this is happening but anyway.. . Last month I had pink and brown spotting from October 13th until October 20th and October 20 it got very heavy bit then the 21st, 22nd and 23 it was light again and then the 24 it was gone. Idk when I ovulated. Then, November 3rd I began spotting brown only on pad. This lasted until today. Do I count these as actual cycles? Or are they spotting before period? They're so light prob could go without a pad. Even in October. Idk how to count this so I can see when I ovulate.

Oh man, that sounds confusing. Do you think this recent spotting was due to ovulation? Since it would have been a couple weeks from your heavy bleeding?

I thought so but not anymore. I spotted brown 7 days actually anr now today it's pink .it's turning into a period. It's like I spot for a lot of days before it turns into a period. I'm not sure what I would consider first day of period .

By the sounds of it, you are bleeding more during the month than you aren’t!
