Question on OPK's ?

So I've been doing OPK's for the last .... 8 days. I considered them all negative until today .... it goes from top to bottom and the bottom one being today and the top one being 8 days ago...

Just wondering why the one from today looks so different .. I mean I know that it's positive obviously but everything about it looks different even the background color that the lines are on and even the thickness of the lines and stuff ....

If anyone has an words of advice or clue why it could do that I would really appreciate it.

I don't really have an answer for you. All I will say is that I wish my opks looked like yours. I have been using them for over a year and the best one I have ever had is equivalent to your day 4.

Do you always get readings like this?!

It's totally fine, no worries!
This is only my second month doing OPK's but yes they have always looked like that but for some reason I still am not able to get preggo!
I've been trying for 13 months now!

Yes, if you read my journal you can follow my journey but just for a quick overview of what I've gone through.

I've had an:
HSG
Vaginal Ultrasound
So many bloodtests I can barely keep track
MRI of my brain because they thought I might have prolactinoma (it confirmed that I do)

And my OH has had a SA!

I go for a consult with my FS to talk about treatment for prolactinoma and I'll most likely be put on clomid.
The medicine for prolactinoma that he's thinking of putting me on is called dostinex.

I think one of the reasons your test looks so different is because your others have dried and the latest one still looks wet. As for the lines, they look like all the others in thickness IMO.

well do you think I've ovulated though ?

I would say that based on the test you have reached your surge and should ovulate. Take another tomorrow and see if it has gone back to negative.

Thanks! I took one this morning and it's negative so I've had my surge and I've been BDing.

Well, keep bding just in case, because it is said that you ovulate 24-48hrs after your surge.
