lve been told that you can try and bottle feed a baby with the milk been room temprature (dont know if its true or not).
But i just wondered if this is true what does it actually mean? do you boil the water let it cool to room temprature and then when ever you want a bottle just put the powder in and give it a good shake?
Im really confused coz when i last bottle fed i could make 6 bottles up at a time by letting the boiled water cool down for half hour and then add the milk and whenever you want a bottle just warm it up.
I am going to try and breastfeed but if i struggle i want to be prepared to bottle feed.
Thankyou in advance for replys x

You still pre make as you have said. Some people measure the water into bottles and add the powder when they need it but ideally the water needs to be 70 degrees when mixed with the powder to kill the bacteria.

You still can make bottles in advance, we do it just make sure once they are made you quick chill them and pop them straight in the fridge and heat when needed. Just don't keep them longer than 24hrs.

As for the room temp question I'm not certain but i'm sure someone will know

sorry if this sounds thick (pregnancy brain lol) but what do you do to quick chill? So do you put the boiling water into the bottles and let it cool for half hour and then add the powder like they did a few yr ago?

You can either let the kettle boil, wait 30 mins, make up formula, put in a jug with cold water for 10 mins, put in the fridge, or if you have a memory like a sieve like me I make them up with boiling water, put in a jug of cold water and put the bottles and the jug in the fridge.

yup thats it then once you mix it pop the bottles into a bowl of cold water, then once cool put at the back of the fridge to keep them the coldest.
