I have a few questions for people who are on the cambridge diet.

1) How much does it cost? (per month/week)

2) Exactly what do they give you for the money?

3) How long does the food last?

4) Is there any sign up fee or do you just pay for the food?

5) What have your experiences been like on the diet?

Many thanks.

i use the tetra packs... ready made

nearly £50 a week, the sachets are cheaper... also I am 5ft 10 so i need 4 a day where as smaller people only need 3 a day

you get shakes or soups

you buy it on a weekly basis... enough to last you until next weigh in

no sign up fee or extra fees just for the shakes

its hard but gives you such a sense of acheivement.... i def recommend it!! xxx

1) How much does it cost?

All Cambridge consultants charge different prices as it's their business at the end of the day... this is what mine charges: £1.80 per sachet (soups, shakes + porridge) £1.95 per meal bar (you can have these after week 2) and £2.00 per tetra (these are the ready made cartons). If you're under 5ft 8 and you're doing Soul Source you will need 3 of these per day, and if you're taller than it's 4 per day.

I have a mixture as I find it easier to have tetras or bars when at work, and I pay about £45 a week

2) Exactly what do they give you for the money?

For you're money you're getting your food, plus worked into the cost of the food is your weekly private weigh/measure in and all the advice from your consultant who will have done the diet in the past too!

3) How long does the food last?

Depends how often you want to see your consultant :)

4) Is there any sign up fee or do you just pay for the food?

No sign up fees!

5) What have your experiences been like on the diet?

Fab, seriously the first couple of days are a real test, but once you get past them and start to see the results you will be hooked! It does take a lot of determination, but provided you're wanting to do this for yourself, and not to please someone else then you will succeed :D

Thanks so much for the replies! :) I emailed a few of the consultants in my area yesterday about their prices etc. Just waiting for a reply now.
