Last cycle I took my clomid as prescibed, days 5 to 9. I ovulated day 15 or 16. This month, my sperm donor will be out of town mid-cycle, so I took my clomid days 3-7, today being the last day.
I know it produces more, less mature eggs...but that will also mean I'll ovulate quicker, too, right?
I'm just curious which date I should begin testing with opks. I know you'll get false positives a few days after stopping the clomid due to a rise in LH levels.

I usually start testing 2 or 3 days after my last pill. =)

I took clomid cd2-6 and i ovulated on cd20!!! I had cramps on my left side cd18 and a positive opk20...i am sooo happy i didnt do 5-9 because i would have ovulated like cd901..lol j/k baby dust!!!

Arrielle, you're such a goofball! Congrats to you too!
And I suppose it all depends on the individual. I'll begin testing in a few days, and will keep my fingers crossed.
And hey...doesn't taking it earlier increase the chance of multiples? I'd be totally fine with that. ;)

Oooohhhh, I hope so.

I also read there is this village, I think it's in South America, where yams are a major food staple... they have the highest multiple birth rate. It's too bad I hate yams.

Sorry... that was a bit off topic.

ha ha ha i heard the same thing about the yams, something like they can increase progesterone or something....
