Quick snow question

Could be a stupid question,but if snow is laying from yesterday and its now sleeting,does that mean the snow will go?

Yeah probably. Anything wet makes snow go to slush or melt.

I think it depends on how much of the sleet is rain. If it has a high composition of rain, it'll probably wash away some of the snow. If it's mostly snow, it may just be cold enough to collect and sum up with the rest of the snow. I don't live in a snowy area, so I can't be certain.

it depends how much snow has already settled and if the sleet is more rain like, usually it does melt the snow but it can depend

How cold is it? If its below freezing, the snow will stay and the sleet will freeze on top. Its awwfy fun walking on ice thats soft snow underneath haaha. Happens every year here!
