Did anyone buy this and not buy the carrycot? I chose not to buy the carrycot due to it stating the peak is suitable from birth using the newborn insert! My baby is 4weeks old and untill yesterday I've been using the car seat as have only been popping to supermarket etc!
Yesterday I went shopping for a long time so I tried her in the pram but she looked so uncomfortable and just not right! Does anyone use this? And does anyone know what age she can go in the seat without the insert? I'm trying to figure out if it's really necessary to pay another £160 for the carry cot!

I don't have the Buzz Extra, just the Buzz but I did buy the carrycot only to return it. I'm using the carseat again with my second baby and have found it to be perfect and better than the carrycot tbh. My daughter loves the carseat and sleeps really well in it. I did try my firstborn daughter in the pram but she looked uncomfortable so put it away until I could no longer get away with using the carseat (about 10 months, she was a tidge! ) If you don't think the carrycot will work for your daughter, I'd reccommend just using the carseat until you need to change to the pram frame.

That's what I thought as she seems so comfy in there but I thought it wasn't good for baby to be in a car seat and not laying flat for longer than 2hrs?

you could buy the carrycot 2nd hand, its better for babies and safer for them especially newborns to lie flat as much as possible, and even if you bought a new carrycot they hold their value so you could always sell it on afterwards.
