I need my p60 to fill out my tax credits forms.

I have asked my work for a copy but its been two weeks and they havent got anything for me.

My mat pay has finished and ive handed in my notice.

What can i do! alex is 8 months and we still havent applied! this is stopping us!

i managed to do mine without. i phoned payroll for thier paye employer number and put estimate of wage down, the tax office said that was fine

I coudnt even estimate though :(

if you can roughly work out what you had each month add tax and times by 12. Mine was very rough as the time spanned 2 jobs and some unpaid time too.

Could you phone them on Monday and ask them to give you the info you need over the phone?

Do you mean your P45? If you do then they have a legal obligation to supply this document, so get onto the tax office about it.

If you mean P60 then I'm afraid that whether you have left before April or not, you will not get that until the year end, which is 4th April.

You could always just ask them for a statement of earnings which is pretty much the same thing as a P60....might be quicker for you. x

Im sure you can get copies of things like this from your local tax office?you may have to pay but sounds like it could be easier than getting a copy from work

I had a similar problem - work contracted a sort of freelance women - who was based in Kent! I ended up getting her number & email and sorting it out myself!

where do you keep your wage slips? the earnings youve earned are on the most recent on so it will be earnings TD (to date) then just use that running april 09 to now :)

it would normally be 08/09 earnings they would work from for which you would have been given a p60 last april

if you are going on 09/10 earnings then its just an estimate they work from until you have the actual

Phone your tax office they post you a letter saying how much you have earnt in the tax year requested and also the amount of tax paid :)

as someone else said it shoudl also be on your last payslip - earnings to date and tax paid to date

Yes the 08/09 p60 details can be obtained from your tax office in the form of a letter or they will be on your final payslip for that tax year.

Yeah p60s dont come out til end of financial year (april).

i was looking for a copy one but i doubt it will be of use now! im getting my recent pay slip so that should help.
